For their Transformers collection, Hasbro is putting a strong focus on the new Animated version of the characters, and we’ll see the following:

So those universe figures are Classics 2.0?

It sounds like that's going to be similar to Ultimate Bumblebee.
In which case, I can't wait to see that on shelves.

So either there is going to be Leader sized figures in the 08 Animated line or theses are more lileky to be movie repaints.
I'm guessing Allspark Prime, Desert Brawl and a Megatron repaint if that's the case.

FAB's are coming back with a new name, hope they don't only do some Characters as Activators. Stick with just the core cast for pocket money toys and we'll be fine.

12 Universe figures before years end is great news, but what's with the third unspecific entry for 8 figures, are those the repaints of older ones perhaps.

Animated battle pack, presumably the preview set, if the dvd is the premiere then that would be awesome news for non US folk but I'm not gonna hold my breath.

Animated's nine Voyagers are more or less known,
1-Starscream
2-Bulkhead
3-Cybertron Megatron
4-Earth mode Prime
5-Earth Mode Megatron
6-Lugnut
7-Grimlock
8-Blitzwing
9-Ultra Magnus - this is the only one that hasn't been confirmed but seems likley

15 deluxes
1-Cybertron Prime
2-Bumblebee
3-Lockdown
4-Prowl
5-Ratchet
6-Soundwave
7-Blackarachnia
8-Slag

Which leaves us with a whole 7 more figures yet to be seen, I guess 9 could be Swoop but he hasn't been confirmed as getting a toy yet. Other potential ones are Jazz, Blurr, Arcee, Wreckgar, Sentinel Prime, the two Constructicons that were mentioned in one of the episode summaries and I can't think of any more. Shockwave should be kept back for the next season and be one of next year's voyagers imo.

Yup. I think in the Botcon news they were calling the 'line' Universe/Classics 2.0 (as in the new classics to be released under the Universe heading).

It looks like the high quality movie repaints may only be partially accounted for this year. The leaders listed here could be movie toys, but I'm not seeing any listing that could be the movie voyagers.

Is this an indication that they're store exclusives, or just not on the list?

Eh? I know this is a stupid question but I have to ask. So the leader animated toys? Just bigger? Or are there more gimmicks to them?

I thought cybertron Megs was a deluxe?
