    They are making new movie style molds too - see Landmine and Incinerator.

    These repaints are store exclusives - Hasbro doesn't have the time or funds to make new molds every time - repaints are a lot cheaper to produce than making new molds and they can't obviously just put out one version of each mold they make because that would be too few toys.

    One of the main reasons we're getting so many repaints is that retailers need "new" product to put out on the sales floor. It's no different than when we got the "Four Horsemen" beasts in Armada. The TF brand is really hot right now and most of the product is selling really well.

    If you don't like repaints, then pass...no one is twisting your arm to buy them. The Animated line will be unleashed on us soon so there will be plenty of new molds on their way.

    These repaints look pretty cool and I will pick them up, but I was hoping they would release Scattorshot and some of the combiner limbs like Windrazor/Treadshot, Skyshadow/Terradive, Kickback/Blight and Blackout/Stormcloud molds.

    Agreed. They don't even need to advertise the combining factor on the packaging and just sell them as individual figures.

    I wish they would recolor armada tidal wave. He would look great in brawls color scheme.

    For the record: I like all 3 repaints and will do my best to buy them.

    More scouts repaints in this line == GOOD.

    But, I agree on two complaints:

    - I'd rather Warpath was a repaint of Scattorshot instead of Overhaul.
    - Storm Surge looks a little too close to Shortround. A Seaspray deco would've been better. Then again, Storm Surge will go great with Evac. :) 

    So, I say to Hasbro: more scouts in this line please!

    P.S.: and Crosshairs does look closer to Outback than Fallback did. I guess Fallback will be revealed a Decepticon mole once Outback^D^D^DCrosshairs arrives.

    Black painted windows, hmm. Well that's defiantely an improvement over the previous two versions.

    Another Energon jeep in colors you just might see in real life. I was happy having just the one, but okay.

    Hovercraft guy still has a butt ugly robot mode but again the colors are improved over the original.
