looks to me like the ONLY difference is the black streak down the middle. all the silver paint is still there HA.

You can see the streak is not there better now. only difference there though... not worth double the price for me! its far too easy to rub it off with rubbing alcohol to warrant the double price AND the high shipping cost.

Yeah I kind of don't feel bad for all the people who were like "You fools r wasting ur money on teh Hasbro version; I'm a get the Takara one that's 10,000 times better!"
In my opinion, I don't see how paying $30 more is worth not having a little silver paint on the airbrake.

 

Yeah, the streak came off EASY on mine. The only real difference looks like the 'con symbol on the nose, not worth the price difference.

 

Agreed. I'm GLAD I skipped Seagreen Screamer and got the Hasbro version. He is so cool so many layers and I have him displayed holding the figure on his arm from KISS Rodimus. He even has his smirk on...

i'll be honest. I like the black weathering streak on the hasbro version way better. It gives starscream a veteran warrior look and feel and it totally makes him look badass. the clean version just looks weak to me, but that's just me.

The burning question for me is the packaging... is it coming in a Masterpiece black box?

The price of a Hasbro SS shipped to the UK is pretty much the same as the price of a takara SS so if the box will fit in with my masterpiece collection then I would prefer the takara version.

For those wondering why pay more, tell me again how to get my hands on Starscream from Wal Mart without sheer luck? Considering the prices on ebay and BBTS, I'm not seeing the downside here. Especially if it comes in some kickass Takara packaging.

Well it doesn't matter to me... I won't be able to find Hasbro's Screamer to $48 anyhow (unless I wanna be ripped for $100 on ebay) so I might just as well keep my pre-order up for TakTomy Screamer to $86.

 

It even has the crown decal on the side.....

 

Didn't we first see these pics scanned from a magazine back in July/Aulgust?

They appear to be the same photo session as the ones F2F have had on their site since July/Aulgust, only cleaner/larger. So what I want to know is if these are official Takara images of the upcoming release or if HLJ just slapped on their copywrite for legal reasons. Those are sloppy photos for official product shots.
