Thought it was interesting news. Quote: Takara is going to reissue the Transformers Movie Ultimate Bumblebee on December 2007 (it was release on July 2007).
It is a diecast figure but the Hasbro version was only in plastic the one of Takara is higher quality than the plastic version and much more like the Master Piece series or Binaltech Series.
| The price of them will be about $110, making them the same price at the TRU versions in Canada. Little more than the $79.99 they are being offered for in the US.

If i wanted a movie Bumblebee(and i don't) it'd be the deluxe not that oversized thing.
Least they might make their classics Megatron better then ours. Leader of the Die Cast is Lame group.
Alpha owns 264 TFs, 101 Gi Joes and 102 Marvel Legends Figures.

It's big - which is cool - but I was surprised how "short & fat" it was, not to mention that weird stubby right hand thing it has going on. I can see why people like it, but I personally think the Deluxe '08 version is still the best representation of the character in terms of overall look & proportion. |

It may not be the best deal in the US but if you can go to my store or TRU and pick it up for the same price but one of them is die cast, well, what would you do?
Personally I don't think this is a great figure myslelf. I don't like the look of it and also thinks it is short and fat so to speak. Making it die cast would make this great looking in car mode IMO but the robot mode will still look like the robot mode it is now.

Spencer. | That's not a bad mark-up at all. Thanks for the update. ^_^
I've got one already. He's okay. Not enough to import a "better" version IMHO. |
