Costco Exclusive on the DVD

Didn't see this reported yet...

Costco also has one; it's $35.oo-ish. Comes with the 2 DVD set,

this book: http://search.barnesandnoble.com/boo...6630133&itm=11
along with the two key chains of Prime and Bumblebee. Didn't buy it myself (Target and Wal-Mart won me out) and couldn't get a picture.

Sorry if this has been reported before. I did a search and nothing came up.

I could care less about key chains and a book. I went with the walmart version.

Nice but I already have the DVD, Key chains and the Book. I miss the days when Costco had real exclusives and not repackaged combos.

Well, they did pack the 20th anniversary TF:TM DVD with an extra disc containing "More Than Meets The Eye" parts 1-3, which ironically ended up being the -only- G1 episodes ever released by Sony...

Opinions on exclusive quality aside, why aren't Costco exclusives ever promoted? There was no advance notice on this or the animated movie exclusive, we only found out about them when someone showed up on the day and saw it.

Costco does not advertise anything ever, Advertising cost money which raises the price of products in the stores. Its a core philosiphy of the company.

Yes, I understand that Costco doesn't have newspaper ads or anything. But websites knew about Target and Best Buy's exclusives, some even had pictures of said exclusives before the Sunday ads came out. What I want to know is, who is putting that information out there (I don't think it's the Target and BB corporations, but who knows) and why doesn't the same thing happen for Costco exclusives?

Thing is I even dug through my coupon booklet I get from them once a month, thinking maybe they would have something. o.O They didn't.

Guess I should have specified "exclusive Transformers figures". I never did get the Costco TF:TM DVD, in fact I missed that one.
