Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's e-mail newsletter "The Insider" reported that Beast Machines will be released in the United Kingdom next Monday, July 16th. Play.com provides more information on this release with their pre-orders.

Only Season 1 (First 13 of 26 episodes) will be released at this time, in three separate releases.

These DVDs will be encoded for Region 2 and thus will only work on Region 2 DVD players or multi-region players.

Thanks go to richardg and Boardwise for the info!

For some reason, the cover reminds me of "The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy" DVD cover.

WOW! IT took quite awhile for the UK to get that released! Anyway... the full collection looks like a Star Wars poster knock off, vol. 1 looks like the Hitchhiker's Guide (2005) dvd cover (damn i got beat out on this one!) and the vol. 2 just looks kinda shitty. I really like the American cover myself.

Heh. Funny how they seem to be cashing in on the movie by putting an emphasis on the Transformers name and having 'beast machines' as a subtitle, as opposed to the opposite.

Cool artwork though.

'Bout time (although I've had the R1 release for a while now) - Hopefully more people will appreciate what the series did when they see it as a whole.

Then again, maybe they won't...

Being called an 'idiot' by a fool sort of cancels things out I reckon..
