I love STAR TREK.
If people don't like the fact that it's 'nice' then they really should choose a show that suits their sensibilities. I certainly don't think STAR TREK should be darkened to suit this 'grim sci-fi about the end of the human race' era we seem to be stuck in, as it ceases to be STAR TREK.
I'm glad to hear that Orci doesn't plan on following that trend with the new ST film...

Back to TF: I'm glad he and Kurtzman probably won't be writing the second TF film, but I mean that in the nicest way. By all means maintain the look and style by retaining Bay, but new writers will always help a franchise by bringing something new to the table.

Being called an 'idiot' by a fool sort of cancels things out I reckon..

Erm...........just being sarcasitic really. i dont mind STAR TREK but the francise does need a bit of life injected into it after some poor films!
