Sadly, none of those interest me at all. Probably because most of them are either repaints or have been/will be 6" versions, which I prefer due to the 3" having a lot less detail and usually crappy paint jobs.
Soundwave and Shockwave = Awesome! Plus, it'll be cool to have all the Movie figures in miniature form, they'll be battling on my desk next Fall
The movie figure sculpts look much improved over what we've gotten so far in the 3" line... much better proportions and no squatting (that I remember anyway, definitely no "extreme", sitting-on-invisible-box squatting...) Here's hoping all the paint ops survive. "We can't call him BLACK Rodimus..." - L -
Meh, I'll stay with the 6 inch Titaniums personally, but good news for those that collect these little guys.
Not to mention marketing Japanese-based repaints to an audience where the majority knows nothing of them. "Cool! They got Sound..... blaster?"
I figure its a lot like how Star Wars tends to expand out into the..."expanded universe" (I hate that term >.>) with their Titanium line. It doesn't stop the kids who make up the majority of the consumer base from looking at them and going "KEWL SPACE SHIP", just like it won't stop them from going "KEWL ROWBOUGHT!" when they see Soundblaster or w/e. DN
Well, we could have Black Rodimus, they'd just need to make Pacific Islander Rodimus, American Indian Rodimus, Caucasian Rodimus, Asian Rodimus, and Other Rodimus.
I've kinda slowed down on these and passed over some of them. Will more than likely get most of those on the list.
Holy crap!!! Those all sound awesome!!! Black Rodimus, Shockwave, Nemesis Prime and Soundblaster!!! I thought I would never see any of those. I wonder what Nemesis Prime will be molded after? He could be the black Laser Prime or a repaint of some other Prime. Can't wait for the Titanium Danial and Spike!
Don't forget Rodimus of Mixed Descent, Hispanic Rodimus, Alternative Life-Style Rodimus, Middle Eastern Rodimus, Non-specified Rodimus and Trans-Gender Rodimus.
Yeah! I know! We're getting a 6" version, too. After all these years, we're getting Japanese characters up the wazoo. Crazy!
"Look, I don't know what the politically correct term is, I just hunt Black Rodimus!" </Jefferson Twilight>
Oh god, my Rodimus shelf is overflowing as it is! Exciting to be sure, except that I already have a spare Rodimus that i was going to paint black on my own.
