You know... it's kind of scary that he still has that stand holding him up even though he's this far along. Hopefully this is just one of the early pieces painted up. Other than that... this figure is a pure toygasm...

i don't like it the legs are way to thin as is the arms which makes the cannon look abit meh, and the head doesn't look great either

i would rather he transformed into a tank if it meant a G1 accurate robot mode

Nope, don't like!
STARSCREAM remains the definative benchmark for the Masterpiece series in my opinion.

Being called an 'idiot' by a fool sort of cancels things out I reckon..

LOVE it. This is pretty much my only definite buy of 2007, and I can't wait to get my hands on it..

I dread to think how many people would complain about that.

Looks very nice painted up, but I'm still on the fence about getting this. It's looking increasingly likely that the figure can't stand unassisted and I'm still leary of paying $100 with all the quality control problems in the Masterpiece line. I'd also line to hold out until I see a Photoshop or other mock-up for how the figure is going to be modified by the stores that are making alterations.

I'm half inclined to say that Masterpiece Megs outdoes Masterpiece Optimus in both modes.

I've got one on pre-order but I am concerned about QC for which Takara has something of a notorious reputation of late. Or so I hear.

I'll remain optmistic. That's a beautiful 'bot right there.

I like the colours, looks nice and vibrant. Still not sold on him though. The head, the legs, the arms. Argh. Maybe with time I will learn to love him. He is impressive though.

Yep, a tank would make for a wonderful G1 Version of Megatron........oh wait he was a gun just like the one pictured above.

I freakin love this figure, so glad I ordered one!
