I just now realized there were catalog scans. :lol

The Deluxes look great, hopefully they'll ship in a nice case-buyer-friendly assortment ratio.

Loving how Jazz's outer vehicle parts aren't all going into the usual spots. Tail-light thighs have my interest aroused and pheremoning.

Prime and Megatron don't look as cool as the non-photoshopped proto pics, though that doesn't really change my opinion on how much I like them thus far. Classics Rodimus also photographed like shite, and I ended up liking him more than Bumblebee.

i've already pre-ordered the voice changing helmet from forbidden planet.

the only movie toys i'm planning on buying are the primes, to add to my mini prime shrine.

but once they all come out that'll probably change and i'll just end up broke again.

From what I have heard, it is the line's "gimmick". As you transform one section, other parts move automatically. Like when you lower Bumblebee's chest into position and the headlights fold forwards to replicate his movie look, or when you transfrom Ratchet's legs and they have those panels that expand outwards to fill out the legs. Basically it sounds like how Energon Megatron's feet worked. Lower the engine outtakes to form the knees and the feet lowered and popped out on their own.

Maybe the leaflet is two-sided? Unless there's a comic on the back or something like that!

It was a little harder to read before the larger pictures were added, it is now quite apparent indeed.

i dont think that this is a wave 1 - wave 2 issue....

still to see are starscream, bonecrusher, blackout, ironhide and ratchet, which would fit neatly onto the next page of the catalogue, maybe leaving enough room for ultimate bumblbee too. then the next page with FABS and those little springloaded bumper things.........?

Agreed. Why Hasbro keep the same terrible photographers who are unaware of even the most basic rules of photographic composition and continually mess up important product shots of their product for very expensive advertising is completely beyond me.

Maybe they don't. Maybe they're continually firing them and hiring new terrible photographers.

So far I'm only interested in the deluxes. Nothing else impresses me, let alone interests me.

Quite the opposite here, I must say. The deluxes are very, very weak as a wave, whereas the larger Prime and two out of the three voyagers have been as god as any merchandise based on the fugly movie designs can be expected.

    Fair point. But still.

OMG!! Megs and Prime look awesome! Barricade and Brawl also are must-haves for me. Really looking forward to seeing those on the big screen in July.

I find it difficult to reconcile that the same people who come up with something as lovely as that slick, cool Jazz are also responsible for the monstrosity of Starscream, but there you go.
