Information From Transformers Collectors Club - Botcon exclusives, club figure

We have gotten word about this year's convention exclusives ... which will apparently be a boxset of 5 characters using Classics Transformers! All of this information, along with images of the new Breakaway figure, the new comic, and some beautifully colored profiles can be seen in the already-shipping club magazine!

I suppose Classics are their only option, since they've already looted Cybertron.

If this is how we get Dirge/Thrust/Thundercracker I'll be super pissed BTW

Even if it was just the existing figures with better (read: more G1) paint jobs then I've no doubt they'd have a massive hit on their hands.

BETTER NOT be how we get the rest of the seekers! Im not paying $300+ to complete the classic seekers. There are enough $100+ toys coming this year to buy.

Yep. One page in and it already started a shit storm... expected as much though. Admittedly, I'd rather buy the other three Seekers at retail for the simple reason that they seem like no brainers for Hasbro to do and sell en mass. I would prefer that the Botcon exclusives were more... original... or something, but I'll be happy with whatever we get using those awesome molds!
