Botcon Iacon Packages Arriving Now

This afternoon I received my box set, comic, and pin for being one of the first 100 registrants via FedEx. I would imagine everyone who ordered will see those arriving within the coming week or so. Perfectly timed, as the attendee exclusives I've picked up off eBay all arrived late last week.

I'm impressed with the turnaround time - last year I seem to remember it being around four weeks after the con before it arrived. Bravo to FP and to the team involved with the designs. These are really special.

The comic came in a manila folder, held in place on the exterior of the boxset by securely-fastened bubble wrap. It was all fairly well-packed; the shipping box was about three times larger than it needed to be.

Getting nitpicky, the boxset was placed at the bottom of the shipping box and all of the paper packing was on top of it. There was no packing cushion below except the aforementioned single layer of bubble wrap. Had there been any damage to the bottom of the shipping box, the boxset would have been damaged as well. Fortunately, that was not the case.

so how much did you guys have to pay for this set, both attendees and non-attendees?

As a club member, the boxset was $250, if I remember correctly. It's picking up the attendee-only pieces on eBay that really kills you, though.
