Oh, and, Told ya so
"Bumblebee's face was revealed last night and there was obviously a split between people's opinions to the face. However, over at the Don Murphy board, half of the screenwriter duo, Roberto Orci, was asked whether or not the face was the final design, which many fans have speculated. Mr. Orci had this to say: 'without confirming or denying anything, all faces will have CG elements augmenting them.' " http://tformers.com/article.php?sid=6447 |

But it's also obvious he's not going to have a mouth or anything, because otherwise they wouldn't have put the pug there and left it blank. They'll probably exaggerate some of the movement in his eyes, but that's about it.

Phazer | I disagree, I think that if they animate a face over the skeletal work, you can see the pug when he talks, like you can see his inner workings, also gives the animators better reference points when animating |

It'd stick out like a sore thumb.

Phazer | I just don't think that the prop department would go as far as building a detailed prop and just leave the face part "blank" because it would be CG'ed, my point basically is that the face we see now is not what is going to be on screen on 7-4-7 |

Probably Too many :p News Credits: 3 | yeah, i'm sure they'll 'enhance'' it some, but if you start to believe from that post that they'll put a "real" face over it, i'm pretty sure you're setting yourself up for dissapointment.
while still dissapointed with the general design aesthetic, i am impressed at the level of practical effects that they ar eputting into this. "all the slammin' shorties in the house say "yeah!""
