That's nowhere near Takara pricing! I'll be paying somewhere in the region of £80 for Takara's Computron (exc. P&P, that brings it up to around £115 if I were to split my orders). And these would cost me around £270! As I said, nowhere near Takara pricing.

These make the Mattel Thunderkittens and She-Ra doll look cheap in comparison! ($60 and $75 respectively.)

How do these people get away with charging so much for a repainted figure that retails for £16.99? (And yes, Nevermore, I'm one of those who thinks that's outrageous pricing! ;)  ) You've got to be a dedicated completest to shell out that kind of cash.

Sorry, I was speaking to the original retail price if you subscribed. Each figure cost me $59 shipped. Takara figures before shipping are roughly $40. Add a few bucks for shipping, and you're closer to $50. So an extra $9 for a LOT more paint is worth it, to me.

They went up a month or two ago, but I don't see them now... But I also didn't search every page... I thought they had a search function, but I don't see it.

edit: guess i was just blind... here they are. I want them still, sorta, but also kinda don't...

I really want those for the ratbat and Megatron. If I randomly ever get Takara's MP cassettes (besides Soundblaster and Ratbat who I have) or YOTG Soundwave I'll have two full sets of six.

Firstly I'm honored that you read my post, problem is that I don't think you quite understand them, or me.

I don't hate every Exclusive (Brainstorm is a day one purchase) nor do I come to these particular with the sole purpose of "sh*tting on them" Hell, Hasbro did that by not renewing their license. That and I don't think it's prudent to call someone's post obnoxious while acknowledging it with "Blah, blah, blah".
Read my post again, I basically said the same thing about Chromedome. So I don't really get your volume of hostility other than the fact that you may love the flavor of Funpub's Kool-aid which is fine, you can buy their entire inventory. My only hope is that the next party to take their place be it Hasbro themselves or someone else improve on what Funbub was lacking in Clubs and Conventions, which would be beneficial to us all as fans/collectors I would think.

Anyone else catch Needlenose has sold out? Guess anyone else waiting to build Thunder Mayhem will be SOL going forward, unless you want to shell out on eBay...

I think many preferred the targetmasters over the other characters. Needlenose and Spinster are commanding a lot on eBay if you look at the sold listings.

Hopefully those that get him end up with ones without the deformed HFG port. I've got a replacement Spinister leg shipping out to me from Funpub now to resolve the problem on mine. Phoned them about it just last week and they were nicely quick to assist.

It's a bit nuts how much money those two are going for on eBay now. I did not see that happening.

I didn't know they would fix that. My Spinister's helicopter rotors also came with stress marks at the joint, and I was doubtful they'd be able to replace that.

(nods) It doesn't hurt that both Needlenose and Spinister have had fairly favorable appearances in IDW's books recently. I suspect the fairly limited appearances by Targetmasters in Generations (other than Scoop) also is a factor.

I went the pre-order route from TFSource for mine, and spent ... hmm, right about $500 altogether, IIRC? Truthfully, I like the Mayhems better seperately rather than as Thunderwing (the G1 Marvel homage is great, but the head execution for Thunder Mayhem sort of reminds me of that freaky semi face from Maximum Overdrive in the '80s. :p

But having the five? , and definitely worth the $$. Now, if only I'd been able to keep my Impactor pre-order ... but I did get Bluestreak, and I'm holding out hope for a reasonable Impactor down the line. :)

I want that armada skywarp, but not at that price. In a couple months FunPub will have to have a fire sale.

Actually, they've apparently got another year to get rid of whatever existing stock they have.

But if people had wanted them as a set they'd have signed up...right?
