AM I the only one here that watched all of beast wars and saw it as the funny and witty show it was,unlike beast machines witch was cash in corporate trash,beast war was by far the best transformers series to date,while the 80's show is good enough BW takes it to the next level and BM trash's it with political correctness that has destroyed 90% of kids TV shows,only some shows on Cartoon network have not been fumigated by the horror.

80s Transformers + movie some pretty god stuff.

BW near perfect
BW2nd/neo cheasy non dub anime
BM take a good thing and pull a 4kids on it
Robot's in disuse is a cheasy dub'd show
Cybertron more of the same with even more pointless gimicls


Only the first of it and BW were anyhting worth watching the rest is painfull....


As for the New movie....I see them kissing up to corperations for tie ins first and foremost,characters story and plot and is all last.....updated the designs to fit modernizing stuff it not "bad" but losing the style characters and everything its about is....I dont see the movie balancing itself well and I have this feeling they are riding on the name alone like FF:Spirits within....

I am a traditionalist I liek to see the old styles and look updated but not recreated.

Blackout :looks alright a bit to "nevuo" in style..he looks more modern generic monster/video game boss than a transformer.

Optimus Prime:Way to hip way to trendy......dial it back...oy vay......


Starscream:I think they are mixing charatcers it looks liek a cross between Starscream and Waspanator...not bad persay if it was WASPENNATOR...BTW waspanator held starscreams spark for awhile loved that ep ,I knew waspenator could ppwn them all..he just lacks confidence *L*

But anyway starscream should always be simi short and simi thin he always has that napoleon complex going,the gatlining guns are over kill and hes a bit to broad.


I miss my collection during moveing a year ago some jackin ape toss ed out a box with 400$ worth of beast wars and a handful of beast machines and 2 or 3 80/90's,and not 13 moths befor it I imported a chreator transmetal 1 first ed and a raniox and a black arachnia trans 2 >< I even had a red and yellow Waspenator transmetal 2's ;_;

I have manged to get 3 or 4 back 1 used leo convy(WHite loin optumis),Frist ed Rampage and Depth charge(had'nt had the heart to take depth charge out of the box) same for a first ed Sliver bolt thats about it about 100 worth of stuff off ebay of coarse they have all the box's and manules  

Sigh I want to get a full ani prime but thier liek 100..this new one without the trailer suxs....because tis without the trailer... *L*
sigh oh well....I guess I have lost my heart for the stuff....

 

Woah, Zombie thread ~ but i'm psyched because a thread over in TFGD had me wanting to see the Blackout prototype again
