An homage to the basic bat Optimus Primal from Beast Wars. It's the Mindwipe body with Sentinel Prime's head. It also comes with swords, which look to be taken from Prime Wheeljack. He also comes with the Apeface little drone thing repainted as Optimal Optimus and a Galvatron head repainted as Gator Megatron that presumably can be used to turn Skullcruncher into this figures arch-nemesis.

He also comes with Galvatron's head as Gator Megatron (and Apeface as Optimal Optimus)! I wish they'd do the whole body!

 

Since the head is included I don't believe they’ll make a separate Alligator Megs, only the head you can then use with your Skullcruncher figure.

But that’s just me, stranger things have happened. But it seems illogical to include the head if they want to do a separate Alligator Megatron anyways.

I didn't notice the included head until after I posted. I edited accordingly.

 

In that case we don't really need a Skullcruncher redeco. You can just put Gator Megatron's head on Skullcruncher's body.

I also like how they came up with a car mode for Apeface/Optimal Optimus by just swinging his arms forward  

 

Damn, this is beyond excellent as an offering in every way. Somebody posted a pic of Galvy's head on Skullcruncher and even barely painted, that noggin looks fantastic on that body.

Pity I don't have the money for this, because between the cool Mindwipe redeco, brilliant use of Apeface as Optimal, and the bonus Gatortron had, this is a real gem.

... it's perfection. It's so amazing. Shame about the (presumed) price, though.

But damn, they knocked it out of the park. We all thought (hoped) that they would do a Convobat. But I don't think any of us expected Apetimal Apetimus.

 

I knew they'd do this. Too bad it's an exclusive, though. Nice that they've given us a cheaper way of getting the croc Megatron, as well.

 

I want it, to bad its going to be a pain to find and afford. Sadly Fun Pub is ending this year, I'm sure they would of pull something like they did with Grand Scourge and Magnificus and sell it through their store as well
