    He appears to have an expanded sticker set from the regular retail as well as the additional paint, do they come pre-applied?

    So this version is essentially the Takara Cerebros with Hasbro's blue? I REALLY dig that look. Damn that looks good.

    Yes they do come applied, thank goodness. Hate stickers (that I have to apply).

    Not sure about retail release as I haven't handled yet, but these stickers are also slightly metallic.

    Standard retail are also metallic but the launch ramp side edge detailing on the arm ramps and leg fronts are omitted as well as other detailing here and there like the neck door sign. I'm well jell of that shoulder graffiti sticker, lovely bit of characterisation.
    Oh, and thanks for the great gallery, Tony!

    EDIT: I forgot to ask, have you opened up Max's shins? Is there any additional detailing inside them?

    Looks good. Can't keep track of the differences between retain, SDCC, and TT. How much was it again? Trying to decide if its worth it to try for HTS.

    Gorgeous gallery Tony, you've seriously stepped up your photography game.

    my interesting takeaway from this is how much better Max's proportions are then Metro with the bulkier torso, longer arms and lack of kneepads visually making the lower leg look much longer.

    Thanks man, appreciate it. Every set is practice for the next one. :)  This was was a bitch, 4 feet of glass is hard to keep clean. :)

    I just immensely regret getting Metroplex.

    Sure, Fort Max is more expensive, but it's not white, has a lot more play value (thank you, Titans Returns and double Headmaster-ness), better looking alt-modes (still not great, mind you, but definitely better) and just has that 1980's Super Robot look that I love so much.

    But there's no way I can justify having two of these gigantic guys.

    I really regret not asking my bud to pick one up for me. I do prefer Takara's but dammit if this one doesn't look good too.

    I just wish there had been one made with blue eyes... I'd rather not have to paint them and blue LEDs would have looked nice in there. I picked up a reprolabel sheet, but it's only for cereberos :/

    Will be curious to see how well the metallic stickers actually stick. The stickers with SDCC Metroplex were terrible.
