I wish Minerva, cab, and Shuta cameoing in this comic meant something like HINTING at what we are going to get, but sadly I do not see it happening but I am indeed hoping.

Hate the Chibi thing, wish they would take these comics more seriously.

 

Can't read Japanese. Are the chibified bots supposed to be the Legends universe versions of these characters? Or do they start out as regular sized and then become chibified for some reason?

 

It appears that Scorponok (in BlackZarak colours since this is post-Masterforce) triggers a weapon that chibifies everyone's bodies, so they detach their heads and go to the Legends World (which they know about because JG1 Whirl and Roadbuster are from there) to get replacement bodies.

This is amazingly stupid and I love it.

 

This is what I love about the Legends comics. They're a direct continuation of the JG1 continuity, but they're not taking things so seriously. Also loving that they got Twincast right here, since the Headmaster/Titanmaster toy is clearly Blaster (and has Blaster's colors in the original G-2 story pages.)

Although I'm curious to know why Cab, Minerva and Shuta are there.

 

Near as I can figure, it's not that they get "turned into chibis," but rather that their bodies have begun to shrink into oblivion. They disconnect their heads to save themselves.

 

Yeah I noticed them too, we know Shuta got a head at least.
But I'd love to see full figures.

 

And that would explain why characters who weren't Headmasters before are Headmasters now

The only way to make a cooler Tarantulas than what we saw in Sins of the Wreckers was to give us a Tarantulas in a lab coat.

 

This comic is great!!! thanks for sharing! Shuta, Minerva and Cab are obviously hinting at the upcoming Headmaster releases with the smaller Takara Legends figures like Goshooter headmaster with Wheelie!
