Looks like Starscream's going to play a major part. I was hoping we'd get a larger version of Megatronus.

HA! this is exactly what I theorised in the Starscream thread earlier.

Can't wait to see pics of the takara paint job for the warrior
And also looking forward to getting our first glimpse of the larger hyper surge figure (which based on very old rumours should be getting a western release complete with voice clips)

With optimus Prime retuning and being reborn an all that, It would be geat to see good ol Megatron come back purged of that ugly Unicron made body and could help Prime against Starscream

I'm so excited for the new series of RiD if Starscream is the big bad. I need the figure too :|

Hyper Surge Starscream! Looks like my wish is coming true!

I wonder if somehow they will try and make Starscream the ruler of Cybertron, to match the Combiner Wars cartoon and IDWverse, maybe that is why he's getting toys?

That's a little disappointing. I really don't want a Starscream who's bigger than Leader Class. Also, I hope he's not the ruler of Cybertron. I'm getting sick of Hasbro making every different version of Transformers the same as each other.

    Awesome!!!
These are must haves for sure!
I was not too excited about the series at the beginning, but I hope this means that Starscream will indeed be appearing! in that case...perhaps I should start watching where I left it...:rolleyes2

That's what I was wondering too & if his wings are supposed to.turn into a cape like the card art, & the back of the box. I'm sure if that's the case, he will be able to deploy them in bot mode and look more like 'natural' Starscream. Time will tell if it's mistransformed for pics or not I guess

You definitely should ! Its a fantastic show

The Hyper Surge Starscream listed might be the same as the $29.99 Starscream listed in TRU computers. If that's the case, I don't think it's bigger than a leader class figure, might be a little shorter. Same size as the Power Surge Sideswipe and Bumblebee that showed up on TRU with Minicons. Way smaller than the $50 Power Surge Optimus.

The wings are on swivels so can be configured like G1/Animated:

I think you might be right about Hypersurge Starscream. BBTS also has Hyper Surge Bumblebee and Sideswipe from TAV listed at about $45. With the increase in Titans Return deluxe prices, I would expect a similar increase in other figure prices, and that would correspond with this $10 price difference. Looking at the Power Hero figures in the RID line, they seem to have ok articulation (still not great), but I can't really get a feel for how big they are, maybe voyager?

Bigger than voyager, smaller than leader. Yet maybe bigger than old ultra class figures. Articulation-wise, if they had knee joints they would be fully articulated. I was really looking forward to them until I discovered the lack of knees last week in person.

While I'm not expecting the Hypersurge Starscream to have it I'm hoping that mold will have good enough articulation.

Power Surge Bee/Sideswipe just needed knees to be fully articulated. I'm hoping Starscream will have all the joints. Wouldn't mind having a big, electronic Starscream so long as it's fully articulated and looks good in both modes.

That actually reminds me that I need to get around to adding knees to my cyber battalion Starscream and Cyber Commander optimus. I've been putting that off for a while now. If Hyper Surge Starscream can be fixed the same way, I'll pick him up, and paint Cyber Battalion into Bitstream and Hyper Surge in Hotlink.

Oh. I thought it sounded a little cheap for a Takara figure so big, but I didn't realize there had been other figures with similar names. Glad to hear they've not had the worst articulation. Maybe there's hope this will be decent.
