I'll get the inevitable Takara version with a Soundblaster that's actually colored like Soundblaster and leave it perputally in base mode. The robot and stereo mode are just a poor man's MP Soundwave - which I already have.

 

I love the little decal on his chest. Thats just so up my alley I'm getting this version and adding onto that. Takara better make a damn Sounblaster though.

 

Robot mode looks good, the radio mode seems a little plain. I do wish Soundwave and Blaster were voyager size.

 

Overal, I think Titans Return is fantastic.

This Soundwave - together with Sentinel Prime - are some of the less stellar figures though.

 

I'm really liking most of what I've seen from TR but this...this is just awful.

 

Robot mode seems ok but alt mode is garbage!

 

Did anyone else notice how his legs look like extended versions of his head?

Nooooooo! LOL! Not my reason for not buying him however. I've already got MP Soundwave. I just think he & Blaster should have been Voyager scale.

yeah, if I want this size I would go for the Master piece. If they do this as a voyager then Id buy it .

I think it does look great, its just too big for my taste

 

Hasbro and Takara need to stop with this. A boom box was in the 80s make this something today's kids can relate to like a laptop, an iPod, tablet etc. we already have MP soundwave for the old people.

 

I love Soundwave....hes the character that git me into this hobby and I have most of his molds.....but this figure looks terrible to me. Im surprised by the positive reaction hes getting. Maybe its just because hes new?

 

His tape deck mode is too... plain and wide...
