I decided since Hasbro owns the mold with TakaraTomy which is probably why they took out the bicep wsivel, that 64 is a bit steep overseas. I will try to get it for 40 or 45

*edit* plus I have the tav 1st version. It's shorter too which isn't such a bad thing although I do like the colors on takaras I just can't stand the truck mode for $70

I purchased this today from my local TRU. I like it a lot, it's a nice, big toy. There's elements of it that remind me of Thunderclash, so I just had to have it. I've also ordered the Takara Tomy version (I like that color scheme a lot). This toy isn't for everyone, but I think it's pretty fun.

Is this the same mold as TAV-50?

Yes, but besides the color differences, I'm not sure if there's any actual physical differences. I won't know until I receive my TAV-50 next week.

I didn't bite. I just saw it at my local TRU. I collect Primes, but this is not for me.

Prefer the colour of TAV50 compare to this Hasbro version.
