Scorponok's looking awesome in those colors.  

 

scorponok's transformation is pretty creative, but not as creative as that minicon's! the way the sword mode is literally just a sword with a robot body glued on - ingenious.

 

Skorponok looks boss.

 

As I guessed, Takara's Scorponok looks amazing. Love the colors they chose.

 

Looks like I'll be picking up Takara's Scorponok as well. Too bad the exchange rate keeps creeping up

 

Colors are great, but... I don't like how he de-claws for robo mode. Seems weak. Plus, one has to wonder how well those claws will stay up on his shoulders, given the engineering. (Oh, and spindly TFs tend to be a mess to pose or keep together, too).

But hopefully he turns out a lot better than he looks.

I haven't been watching the series at all, but I do love some of the Decepticon designs.

...his axe is really doofy though.

Edit: Wow, the difference between the two Scorps, if I do pick one up it's gotta be TT's and I generally don't care that much about those kinda things. The color scheme just looks so much nicer.

My god, that sword Minicon. It literally decapitates itself, which results in it looking like it was skewered. Then Sideswipe proudly sticks the little guy on his chest for lord knows what reason. Armor? Poor thing just suicided itself just by transforming, that's more than enough pain and humiliation for one bot.

 

Yeah I like Scorponok too.

 

Sideswipe's head sculpt looks nice. The rest is, eh, I guess. That minicon is hilarious though.

Both that and Scorponok are up on AmiAmi. Hopefully MP Inferno and Cheetor go up for preorder soon too.

What is the Hasbro one called? Is it RiD instead of TAV or something? I haven't seen a listing anywhere for a Hasbro Scorponok that looks like the Takara TAV model.

sort of surprised we havent seen Legends 32 and beyond yet.......or have we and I just missed it ?

only thing I can find on amazon is up to 31 ( fortress maximus )

 

Scorponok looks really good, but since we know that a BW-inspired head for this mold exists I'll wait and see if Takara retools this mold in a similar fashion to LG Blackarachnia.

The next wave of Legends releases should pop up sometime around July 10th if the pattern holds up. Probably Super Ginrai since the grey prototype shots they use for the initial pre-order pictures are already done. As for deluxes, they still haven't announced their Mindwipe even though Hasbro plans to release him before Weirdwolf/Wolfwire who is already in Takara's pipeline so I assume Mindwipe will be in the next wave too. On the Autobot side I think it's either Chromedome or Highbrow up next.
