Oh god I can't believe they're going through with this name.

    Sqweeks is an awful name.

Brains was the same way. Everyone thought the name stupid and he too was an original character. But I didn't mind it because Brains for him as he really was a smart character and useful. This "Squeeks" may be he same as it probably makes a squeaking noise when it talks or moves so it will probably fit.

However, I do want to point something out as it's written in the front page discription that this confirms Squeeks an Autobot? Are we sure of that?

Look at the last movie with the KSI TFs. All of them were branded as DCons in the toy line just for he sake of selling bad guys for the toys but none of them were really DCons in the movie or had the logo on them in the movie. We still don't know yet if Swueeks is a real TF or man made or if it even really transforms in the movie. I'm looking at you The Fallen ;)  who got a transforming toy yet did not transform into anything in the movie.

They're most likely going to be terrible like the age of extinction figures.

I like the AOE line actually, I have every deluxe and voyager. Probably my favorite movie line besides DOTM.

There were some great figures in the Generations line, particularly the dinobots, evasion Optimus and Hound. Others weren't so great, and they may have been simpler than the ROTF figures but no simpler than the non-movie generations toys, and I assumed this was more to do with cost than "dumbing down". I love the one steps too, most are really fun. I got a couple so my cousins' kids had something to play with when they visited and I ended up getting all of them.

Anyway, we don't know much about Sqweeks. He might end up being endearing, and everyone will be after a toy of him :)

At least "Brains" only sounds unoriginal. "Sqweeks" is just... pandering.

For awhile I was wondering how the name was spelled.

    Squeaks, Squeeks.

Sqweeks apparently, looking forward to seeing what figures are made for the character.

Another stupid Bayformers name, I am not not believe that something could be worst than Brains.

I think that's a bad example. They were under the command of Galvatron, so they were Decepticon drones. After all, Decepticon is a faction, not a race (as far as we know). A much better example would be Lockdown getting listed as a Decepticon, despite being a neutral hired by the Creators.
