As much as I loved Transformers Prime, I don't think paying out $145.00 is really worth it. Especially considering its on Netflix. It's just seems like a lot for 3 seasons.

I hope there's just a normal box set that isn't Blu-ray. If its only in Blu-ray, looks like i'm forking over some dough.

I bought all three seasons plus the movie on Blu-Ray direct from Shout, and I'm pretty sure I didn't pay that much. I want to say each season was only around $30 a piece... So all together, it would still only be maybe $100-$120...

 

Given that it'll be region locked, that's me out.

 

Definitely interested, but not for anywhere near $150. That kinda sucks, cuz I'd love to have the series on bluray - especially if there's some bonus content action. Oh well, maybe it an be had down the road at some point on the cheap.

 

Can the listing be trusted, particularly with it only being a month away from release and has almost no information or images?

It doesn't list a producer/distributor, and just notes that it is an import, so doesn't look to be an American release.
I can't even tell if it is being sold by Amazon, or a third party who has just imported copies of a boxset edition released in another part of the world (which would explain the price).

 

If I could afford it, I might actually get that. No guarantees.

 

$150? No thanks. Love the show but not paying that for a series that's only 20-30 hours. Shouldn't be more than $80-90 tops.

Often when a movie first appears on amazon, it is listed for substantially more than it will sell for at time of release. I bet this comes down to $40-$50 by then.

 

After getting the g1 complete set for cheap, as much as I loved Prime, and it is blu-ray, this seems kinda pricey. Fifty percent off and I'd be down for it.

 

I hope you guys are right about the price coming down. I'd love to have a nice bluray box set, but that price tag makes it an easy pass. Especially if it's just the episodes. No mention of any bonus content? For $145? No way.

 

Most of the time I see prices for toys on the site and I balk, then I look at the discussion thread and everyone is saying how excited they are to buy whatever it is at the rediculous price... I'm glad to see that's not the case with this box set.

Count me in when it's heavily discounted as it's a great series.

You can guy the individual seasons for a lot cheaper than that ($90?). I already have the first two seasons on BD, and keep putting off season 3 and the movie.. Maybe I need to get them.

 

Another Transformers product at a crazy price. This seems to be a running theme now.

I am not paying that much when I can watch it online for less/free AND have no need to get up from my setee and change disks. Plus with digital copies,. there is no risk of buying something region locked for overseas buyers.

The price they are asking for does not reflect the prodyct.

I's buy it for around 50 dollars, though. Maybe.
