We got a 3P Slammer and Six-Gun for Metroplex, so maybe we'll get a 3P Gasket and Grommet for Fortress Maximus.

After paying for Bruticus, I realize that even though I'd like to get Takara's I'm going to have to wait for a sale. The dollar being neck and neck with the yen is a preorder killer.

 

Given that Iron Factory knocked those two out of the park, I hope they take a swing at Cog, maybe with proper guns for Max to hold.

 

Normally I would agree about the blue (speaking purely aesthetically about Cerebros), but in this case I really like it. Same thing with TT vs Hasbro version. I would normally like the more subdued TT with G1 colors, but the Hasbro one just looks more "interesting" to me. I especially like it's look while posed, so you don't just see solid red on the legs. I have a TT preordered, but will probably cancel unless I see some nice guns included or something like that.

 

It's coming with the master sword though plus pretty sure it's going to Haopen sonce SDCC re-used the sword, and retooling

 

When is the next major Toy Show in Japan other than Summer Wonderfest?
I hope the TT will reveal the swords soon and maybe just maybe the guns too.

 

I would say that Before and After (TT vers for TT Metro) and TFC (for the SDCC Metro) did good Sixguns, IF's was too small for my taste, but their Slammer was awesome.

This also illustrates how 3p started, we are already looking at alternatives to filling gaps in accessories that should have came with the originals in the first place.

 

I don't think I care too much about the sword. Its OK, but I'd rather have that gun from the box art. It's a tough decision, especially with the price difference. One thing this reminds me though: with choices like this, its a damn good time to be a fan!

Takara looks to be the best one hands down.

 

I could see them doing guns too considering the fact that it wasn't until a while till they showed celebros head, and takara fort max with the stickers applied....

 

Agreed also I think the hasbro verison looks even blander than the takara without the stickers

 

So bummed I canceled my preorder last month.  

I truly hope BBTS orders more.

 

There are others that still have it for pre-order. And most will ship the item for free.  

 

I just pre-ordered mine through Ages 3 & Up for 229.99 and they give free shipping. Plus, they allow pre-ordering with paying, just in case.

Wow,TakaraTomy Fort Max deco/color scheme is good, i am glad to have this guy preordered.

 

Anything could happen, but I wouldn't count on extra guns with the Takara Max. Headmasters cartoon Max mostly used the Master Sword, not guns, so there's no real reason for Takara to include guns. Japanese fans won't have any particular attachment to them. I'm sure no one would mind them, but I don't think anyone would miss them, either.

 

Welp, just pre-ordered from amazon. No going back now.
