Yep, this will be the Fort Max for me. Aside from having Japanese voice clips, this one easily beats out the retail and SDCC versions in my opinion.

 

I have this pre-ordered, but like many others want Hasbro's Cerebros head. Have a feeling that more people want to trade for the Hasbro version than would want this one.
TakTom is adding Titanmasters to their Legends size releases, hopefully they will include the Hasbro version with one of them in the right colors.
I don't give a damn about the sword. It looks ridiculously large to me for him to use that against opponents that are mostly smaller than the sword itself. I'd certainly prefer a large gun for FM.

 

For me it's all about those shins ~ that'd push me into Takara over Hasbro ~ if it wasn't for the red around the guns I'd go SDCC, cuz that looks nice too.

But like many in this thread, as a Marvel Comics guy i'd much rather have Cerebros/Spike then Fortress.

 

I'm really torn because I love the deco on this version and I also like they actually painted around the red guns on his shins as well instead of leaving it all red like Hasbro's. The one thing though that is keeping me in Hasbro's camp is the Cerebros Rebirth style head. As small as the Titan Masters are, it's too bad Takara could not include both face versions as a bonus so we can use which ever one we want.

 

Interesting that it looks like there are four points (one on either side of the legs) where one of the Leader size Titan masters in base mode can connect.
So far we (I) know of three, Ginrai, Blaster, and Soundwave. Any idea on who the forth Leader figure might be, if there is one?

 

Takara Metroplex had stickers too. Just not as many as Hasbro's, as they omitted some details and painted some others instead of using stickers. Some were identical, some were modified too.

I really want to love this thing but I just can't. I still have my childhood vintage Fort Max so I'll never appreciate this thing as much as that. So I have to ask myself do I really want to throw down over $200 for a less accurate, lazier alt mode design, but more articulated version of something I appreciate more.

I have Infinitor to satisfy my articulation cravings. He'll be my CHUG Fort Max stand in.

That said, I'll be watching ebay like a hawk to see if by some bizarre chance someone puts up an auction for just Fortress. I'd definitely buy Fortress with his head and little master sword.

 

I'd be happy with any version because it's FORTRESS FREAKIN' MAXIMUS! But unfortunately I'll never be able to afford this version (Or the SDCC one) so it's regular Hasbro version for me.

 

Will have to double dip on this one, want Takara Fort Max as well as Rebirth Cerebros to display.

 

Alot of folks saying Takara wins on colour but wanting Cerebros.

Maybe for those going Hasbro we might get a good reprolabels response get to a nice halfway point.

Well now I'll admit Takara's has won me over in terms of looks. These pics look way better than the earlier ones too and Fortress looks like he popped right out of the show. Still might let price determine if I get this though.
Also still disturbed by the bunny guns.

 

This version looks better. There's no red on the sides of his legs like on the other two.

 

I dunno, this one feels really bland in comparison. Of course, it also doesn't look particularly different, so I'm not sure what big thing puts the version so far above Hasbro's.

 

I was never gonna get it in the first place, but I like it less now. There's too much blue, and I did prefer the leg cannons before, but now the red seems too saturated. I liked the pale red and grey.

 

This really does look fantastic. But I'll stick to the Hasbro version since I'd rather have the Cerebros head than Fortess'. I'm sure Reprolabels will release a set to make up for missing paint apps. It's sad to have to rely on that, but it is what it is.
