Looks boring to me. The art and fonts are pretty bad too. Especially compared to the previous releases for SDCC. The Shockwave set looks amazing. This just looks really tame and unimaginative.

Well, that's one more for someone who really wants it then, hopefully.

I do like the Zartan figure with this set.

Too bad they never went Kre-o with the crossover stuff... or even Construct-bots.

Great for whoever wants these crossover themed sets. I would probably get the set for the hiss tank and sell the rest; if HTS will let me order one that is!!

As far as the Powerglide I love the blue version of the Rattler more. I think I will skip this one too.

I just picked up a set of the first 3 crossovers last summer. So, I will definitely be getting this set to add to them. My favorite 2 toy lines from a kid combined is hard to pass up.

One question though -Other than eBay, how does a nonattendee go about picking up a set? Are there any other options?

Wish they would have thrown in a miniature Perceptor, like they did with Megatron, Soundwave, Blaster, and the cassettes.

I've always liked these crossover sets and I'll be adding this one to the collection. I only wish Hasbro didn't tap dance around the concept of a real line of crossover figures.

While I don't believe it would be an affordable line to have transforming vehicles made to a 3 3/4" scale, there are other options that could work. Hasbro could bring the scale of the Joe figures down to the little Marvel ones they sell. (a 2" scale I think) Then they could produce transforming vehicles that could scale well with the Joes and not cost an arm and a leg.

Hell, at that scale, they could even relaunch the MASK line as a subset. As far as story, it's not as if Hasbro doesn't have a half a dozen different comics series to base the line off of. Tho they could make a new one and even do a web series/mobile game based around it to promote the toy line.

    *sigh* if only.

I think they were too popular to not bring back once they realized there were still untapped options for crossover vehicles. The question now is what vehicle can they pair with a Beachcomber AWE Striker (with Footloose as his driver) for next year's set?

Wow, I thought they said they weren't goi g to do these anymore?!?!?

That Powerglide just rules, I'd consider it for him alone ~ II never was a big fan of that HISS design, but the remolding to ad Sou dwarves cannons is nice.

I wasn't planing on getting any transformers exclusives this year. I think I just changed my mind. Love the power glide! Wish I would have picked up the old ones though.

I guess there are folks that like them. I see this as a distraction from real TFs.

That's not the point of this toy. If you want something to transform just get a regular Transformer.

They sold out every year, so there is obviously demand for these. I'm surprised they took a break from these for a couple years. They are cool sets that can appeal to (some) fans of both franchises.
