I agree they should have come up with some little extras like in the previous sets. Hopefully they'll do some for next year. The Powerglide is enough for me to get this to go with the previous SDCC sets.

 

I expect that this will prove to be a popular set. All of the other crossover sets sold out, and the appeal on this is good enough that I think this will be in demand as well. I'm curious to see what other SDCC exclusives we get, but I'm expecting that we will get a modified version of Titan Fort Max, and maybe another Transformers set or two, plus some Star Wars stuff from the new Rogue One movie.

 

This is a great addition to the G.I. Joe vs. TF's. I don't collect those sets, but I know a lot of people love them.

I'm hoping for another class of Kre-O set. They could do the combiners this year and next year do the various masters characters.

 

From what I hear, Kre-O is dead. I don't collect them but I did enjoy the style of them.

 

Hopefully I can get this one. The only other one of these I secured was the shockwave tank.

Nice retooling on the hiss tank for soundwaves blasters.

Maybe it will be easier to get since the joes included aren't as in demand as that bludgeon and baroness with ravage were.

 

I hope so too! Although I bet there at least a few Joe collectors planning to get that Powerglide and re-sticker it as a Crimson Guard Rattler.

That soundwave tank looks really sharp with those foil stickers. Nice touch.

 

Sorry to say, but I would not count on that. I think the TF and Jos exclusives for the last few years were a bit lacking but this set has fans from both groups fairly excited. I think this may end up being a fairly popular exclusive. With that said I hope it is easily available to everyone that wants one, but that often ends up not being the case.

I think the sdcc fort max will be fairly easy to get because it is at such a high price point at nearly 200. So I expect it to be up on the HTS website for awhile.

 

I just need to figure a way to get the hiss tank. Might be cheaper to get it off ebay!

 

Yeah, I have a bad feeling it'll be that way, but I can always have hope!
