It's a toughy and either megs or galvy - but I'd say megatron is a glaring hole in the MP line for anyone that didn't adopt a 3p or the leader class placeholder.

We need Jazz. He's a major character and it really sucks that we have no representation of him. I'm more than okay with Apollyon as my Megatron.

Sunstreaker. I would love any of the figures on the list, but it would be criminal not to do a Masterpiece figure of the very first car robot. He was my first Autobot as well, so I'm slightly biased.

Galvatron for me though If i could pick two it would be Megatron 2.0/ Galvatron. We really need some form of the Decepticon Leader back in scale with Prime and Hotrod/Rodimus. I picked Galvatron though over Megatron since I think its the most likely since they could possibly sell that in the US unlike Megatron.

Honestly guys, I really want to see Galvatron done justice. Aside from possibly the upcoming Titans Return Galvatron, the character never received a good toy to represent him like Jazz, Sunstreaker, or Hound did ultimately end up getting with their Classics figures. Unlike Megatron 2.0, it wouldn't cause such a major hassle to import since his alt mode is a space laser canon and not a realistic firearm. That, and I've been wanting MP Galvatron for close to a decade.

I really want an MP Sunstreaker. The 3p ones are not doing it for me. Other than that Trailbreaker needs some love and yes, we NEED a new MP Megatron. Make him a tank and all will be well.

Hasbro confirmed to a source that I know that the entire '84 (maybe 85) line would come out as Masterpiece.

However, I'm not happy with MP. Effectively, Hasbro and Takara have tried to cheapen the CHUG range and pump out as many so-called "Masterpiece" toys as they can (compete with repaints). If CHUG wasn't so firmly established, then I'd be more thankful, but it seems they have tried to make one line redundant("collect them all... AGAIN! "), by making the other cheapened.

Masterpiece should be released once a year and be an event. The toy should be a fully realised masterpiece, with no niggling QC issues or unfinished features (*cough*Star Sabre's sword hilt not rotating in the fist and storing completely in the alt-mode, even though the G1 version does it*cough"). Scale be damned, too, as the toy would be a spotlight on the character. Thus, seriously important characters, not ALL of them, should be given the MP treatment (with nice CHUG versions of ALL figs made to keep everyone happy).

The end result is a competent CHUG line, with yearly, actual MASTERPIECE figs to look forward to, rather than look at, and begrudgingly buy (as you feel you're being milked).

Unless the Galvatron you're referring to is BW Neo Galvatron, I don't care for any of those selections. We have more than enough G1 MPs between Takara and 3rd party.

Time for some more BW MPs. Dinobot being the first and foremost character that comes to my mind. It's been long over due. They should have started working on a MP Dinobot when they saw the overwhelming support he got in the first Hall of Fame vote.
