Tokyo Metropolitan Police Dept. will once again have the assistance of a familiar face and a formidable piece of law enforcement equipment.

They have just announced that three 350hp Nissan 370Z Nismo patrol cars will be entering service and almost certainly scaring the hell out of any Decepticons lurking in the city.

For any Transformers fan or car nerd, this is very exciting news. For any automotive hooligans in Tokyo, this is very bad news.

I see what you're getting at but Classics/Universe Prowl borrowed heavily from the Nissan 350z, he predecessor to the 370...so I see a lot more similarities there.

 

I see that, but I tend to give CW toys a bit more leeway because of the four modes they have to have.

350hp seems a bit... low, considering the tuning scene in Japan.

Well, the CW Prowl mold is a mid-engine car, and the 370Z is a front engine car. I considered, the Dead End tooling at least, to be closer to the Saleen S5S
