haven't we seen literally ALL these things already?

the only interesting thing here appears to be the pictures showing all the new parts on Nosecone compared to Rook.

was really hoping to finally get a look at Takara's transformers adventure colour schemes for Warrior Windblade and Scorponok as well as the Strongarm & Sawtooth battle pack.
oh well, guess I'll keep waiting.

I liked seeing the Noseconde changes. I wish we had gotten a look at Fortress. I'm assuming he'll have a toy/Headmasters accurate head.

Looking at Fort Max from those pics, I can understand why they've designed the "City" mode as they have. It may not be as compact as the G1 version, but by adding Leader Class bases to the mix, it'd make for an impressive display.

Tokyo toy show starts June the ninth, I guess they're saving the reveal for that.

Takara modded almost everything about Rook to make Nosecone, but forgot to remove the awful hands? They managed it for Swindle and Hound, so why not just fix it for this figure.

I wouldn't be concerned. The Master Sword was an integral plot device for the Headmasters series.

I fully expect Fortress's face to have no plate as well to be screen accurate. I don't believe that's something we've seen yet either.

Cool, actual scans (as opposed to photographs of a magazine page that are continually called scans for whatever reason).

    (Thanks for the scan, OP!)

I'm a bit on the fence with Computron, but considering the mold differences and uniqueness of the Takara version, I kind of want it. However, by and large, the Hasbro one seems superior, thanks to the color scheme they chose (plus a freebie Scrounge!).

Everything else has to be sacrificed - there are waaaaaaay too many HasTak Generations releases down the pipeline to even consider any RID toys from Takara! :lol

    +1.

And I don't get why they couldn't tool them in somehow. The joint is so simple and easy to throw in! Unless those hip speakers are completely hollow for some base mode gimmick?? I just don't see why they couldn't add the cannons, as they are quite, um, canon! :D

I find it funny they compare Nosecone to Rook, since Taraka never released Rook. Sure they did Roller, but Rook is a Hasbro exclusive so far.

Definitely getting Wheelie with Go Shooter.

In my opinion it looks nothing like a city anymore. But it looks like the vehicle mode with the legs spread. Really lazy IMO and I'm passing on it.

    Same legs, arms and chest...

new treads replacing the wheels, no canopy (replaced by an armature) to cover hands in vehicle mode, and a new head is not almost everything lol

It looks good don't get me wrong, but it seems to suit Twintwist more than Nosecone.

Sure he does! They've just been upgraded from giant physical flip-out barrels to more compact little Death-Star-style particle beams that emanate from those red discs... is what I'm going to say in my head. :)

I think he looks good, though, especially in the Takara deco. I can forgive the lackluster city mode (just as I did with Metroplex) because the 'bot mode has such presence.

I like Nosecone a lot, but just being picky, I still wish he had a boxier head sculpt. And even though it wouldn't be as G1-accurate to the toy, I wish the treads were painted a different color (black or even just a darker brown) to make them stand out more. Still, as my favorite Technobot, I appreciate how much love he's been given here, and can't wait to get him in hand and fiddle with him.
