    I doubt that.
Fans have already demonstrated an eager willingness to purchase simplified figures and more economical decos.

I remember that AOE FE Optimus was in 'frustration free packaging' when sold by Amazon, though that just seemed to mean Hasbro pre-packaged it in an outer box ready for sending.

I'm more curious about the Dragonvale sequel. I've been playing that game almost since it's release. Was there more details surrounding a release date for the sequel?

I just took it to mean that it will literally be the sixth film made and released. None of the films are actually called Transformers 2 etc. it's just been a shorthand until the actual title is announced.

I think all that 'frustration-free' is going to mean in the end is a lack of twisty ties or whatever keeps the toy and accessories in the plastic tray, as those IIRC are actually meant more for keeping people from simply ripping open the box in the store and stowing the contents away such that retail loss prevention services won't see it.

Ironically we've already had cases like this in the past where they simply did away with those annoying anti-theft things - primary example that comes to mind was Animated deluxe Lockdown who IIRC had none whatsoever. Ever since the toys have started coming in robot mode, however, that option no longer is possible.

It specifically says for online retailers so probably means they'll be delivered to the retailers pre-packed in an outer box.

Thank you very much. My pleasure.

I went through my notes. I guess "majority" seems to be a strong word. "Significant" is the word here. I'll update the post.

Value is 20% BTW. :)  Thanks again.

Stated that it will happen this year. No specific date told.

Thank you for following up. I was unsure by the way it was written if it would happen this year or at a later date. I appreciate your reply though!

"There will be Fan-Specific Products in the future"
domestically release Masterpiece figures please? made available through channels BESIDES Toys R US (like maybe Hasbrotoyshop.com)

I want to buy your toys hasbro, but I cant do that is TRU only puts 2 new figures on the shelf each week. or if you keep shortpacking NEW toys in favor of figures that have been shelfwarming for a year and a half. (the latest case of RID Warrior class figures for example, only 1 each of Quillfire and Thunderhoof, along with repaints of drift, optimus, and Bee, and straight repacks of wave1 Srongarm and wave 2 Sideswipe.
you were doing so well with the case layouts of Combiner wars. 4 new guys per wave, 2 of each, so nobody gets shorted.

That'll be good for the MISB collectors then.
I wonder if they mean Hascon exclusive figures...

I assumed it applied to online retailers because people can't shoplift from an online retailer (other than employees I guess), and therefore the packaging can be easier to open. But you may be right.

or you could do what most other people do and order masterpiece figures directly from japan and get them cheaper than what toys r us would sell them for.

    Bumblebee standalone movie?!? WTF!

(Although I must admit, despite its other faults, RID BumbleBee is probably the best melding of Hot Rod/Rodimus, Cheetor and Bumblebee yet. He's actually like-able)

Okay since nobody asked, here's my pitch for Visonaries:

Game of Thrones meets Shanara Chronicals.

The fan specific products is promising yet worrisome.

Good luck to the Hasbro Cinematic Universe, It'll end up dead on arrival and could very well end the franchise as we now it.
