Hmm. $169 for Shockwave with a Megatron gun that I likely already have OR $109 for just Shockwave? I really don't need another $60 Megatron that doesn't do anything other than be an accessory. More like an excess-ory, am I right?

Where are all these extra Megatron guns y'all are finding everywhere? I've searched eBay for them and hardly anyone sells just the gun itself.

Starscream, the one character on the show who actually wielded him the most, should have come with the darn thing :/

Soooo, how many Megatron in gun mode accessories do I need? You think 1 or 2 might be enough, guess I was wrong.

 

Normally when Takara/Hasbro both do the same Masterpiece, there's a certain difference, mostly on the colour-side.
I'm wondering how this Hasbro version will be different, since the official Shockwave has been Takara's...

 

Hasbro Asia MP releases are usually identical to Takara ones.

if that silhouette is anything to go by.. it looks like a new gun to me.

i would've preferred they recolor it to more accurately represent his on screen look. but, without any changes, even a new molded megatron gun isn't enough to warrant buying the same figure again.

 

MP Shockwave is pretty amazing. Hope whoever did'nt get him before
gets him this time.
MP Ironhide/Ratchet also turned out superb, almost impressed
by them as I am with Shockwave.

 

Wow very interesting but my theory on this fig will be darker paint.
now when I first seen this fig I was all in but after finding out he was kinda short and pastel toon purple I than caved for quakewave darker taller and better.that price is horror but if paint is darker it is much more attractive ...

Considering that this mini Megs is actually scaled to MP1 Prime (and looks big even for MP Soundwave's hand), this is going to look WAY huge in MP Shockwave's little mitt.

I've got two, as I'm sure most of you do.

Time to bring out Megs V2, Takara. Make it snappy.
