Not sure why they're so mad. They should be glad their products weren't tarnished by being in the movie...

The headline is kinda clickbaity, considering Bayformers is 2.5 hours of product placement. :p

Yeah, I was going to say, some of the product placement was really, really blatant. I mean, that's just the nuts in a turd sandwich as far as complaints go, but still.

$ 27 million is a lot of money

Edit: though $750,000 is also a substantial investment towards a movie production. Why is Wulong suing for so much money?

Possibly a projected loss due to improper/no credit failing to gain them a return on that investment.

I hope this leads to less product placement in the 5th movie.

Cause they're greedy mainlander is why :p  And yeah especially if you convert the USD into the RMB...good thing there are other Chinese partners involved, or else this would get shady real fast. Although it is already shady, someone's getting their heads loped off for sure!

I heard that the team filmed the wrong logo, but thought it was the right one. Where does it say that the logo was left on the cutting room floor?

    That makes sense

What could this be if it wasn't a straightforward lawsuit?
