Heh, how did Cosmos get into that "VS" lineup? He is far from a heavy hitter. Would not bet on him. And All Hail OP already ends? Well that was one short event. Sentinel is back? He was kinda dead, no? I guess a new toy can get anyone resurrected. You hear that IDW? Hasbro made that new Doubledealer toy quite a while ago... I always wonder why they call Windblade a "fan-favourite". "Fan-voted" more like, but the way she is written in the comics, she remains terribly bland and boring for most people I asked. I mean, sure, this is waaaay better than what they did with Drift back with Shane/Shame McCarthy... but a far cry from some REAL fan favourite characters like Rewind, Chromedome or Swerve.
The arc titled "All Hail Optimus" is only six parts (and IDW never called it an "event", just news sites did), but it's already been confirmed that the "Optimus takes over Earth" story is going long beyond it.
Half a year still, I guess. Well, not that I expect that to make Not-RID any less boring. *****, Chris Ryall. Just *****. Superstar? Are you guys even reading the IDW forums and the general reader opinion on Ramondelli? That murky, blotchy mess where you can barely make out what is happening and details are lost in the dark splashes that goes for colors? That's not NOIR. Sin City is noir. The prequel stories and Dark Cybertron were just dark and incomprehensible. Plus the guy never even bothered to google the toys/characters he was supposed to be drawing, see Combiner Wars.
Hopefully MTMTE is just helping to set up Titans Returns, and the entire comic isn't going to take part. If it is part of the crossover, then MTMTE officially has until #55 to make me forgive all of season 2, because if it doesn't, I'm not sticking around for the latest of IDW's annual derailment events.
I thought that was the idea behind having three ongoings. Leave one of them to carry the mandated toy line tie-in, while the other two carry on doing what they do. Let Not-RID and MTMTE continue and lump the Headmasters into TAAO.
It was confirmed a while back that MTMTE's taking part. I don't think anyone ever said that was the idea...

I can only hope that there's been enough lead out on Titans Return for it to be more like the last 4 issues of Dark Cybertron, which were actually pretty good. Kind of interested to see how MTMTE gets drawn into the fray, I assume Luna 1 and the Titan graveyard play into it somehow. At least we know Headmasters aren't necessarily being forced onto characters that have new toys coming out. One plus of having three TF titles and a one shot is that TR should hopefully have enough space to tell it's story without feeling so rushed, and potentially mean it doesn't derail each book for too long either. *EDIT* Looks like it is going to be two issues each https://twitter.com/jroberts332/status/722683787918852096

That would be ROM. 80's toy that had a comic by Marvel back in the day, now getting the modern reboot treatment from IDW, hence him appearing on a bunch of other IDW titles' covers in July.
Thanks for posting this. My question when i saw the one-shot solicit was "how long is the TR crossover going to be?" Looks like 7 issues (1-shot plus 2 each of 3 titles is my guess.... maybe a 'bookened' one-shot to make it 8) And either 7 or 8 issues is perfect for a collected edition. I'll probably wait for that. IDW loves to make special event collections...
Didn't expect Titans Return to start so early. Here's to hoping it turns out better then Combiner Wars.
