Who Is Isabela Moner, Star of 'Transformers 5'?

TRANSFORMERS 5 Casts Nickelodeon Actress Isabela Moner As Female Lead, 'Izabella'

 

I like the back story of her character, but I don't know about her acting.

 

Curious to see what her small TF friend and if she's playing a character from TF lore like Verity or someone new altogether.

 

Oh look. They're copying The Force Awakens. The Force Awakens has a female orphan with a small robot friend. They just made the orphan younger.

 

I have no idea who she is, as she hasn't been in anything I've seen. Hopefully she can be a good lead.

 

Oh neat, an actual kid in a film about a kids' property. And I am not being snide, either. It's an interesting choice for a female lead and could mean a new take on Transformers films.

I am worried about that little Transformer as her friend. I'm too used to small Transformers making sexual innuendos in these films.

 

So she'll be the live action Miko type?  

 

Wait, what happened to Mark Wahlberg? His character had potential. Oh well, at least they're going for something really different here. I mean, yeah they're totally copying Star Wars, but that's different for these films.

 

Worse. A younger version of The Force Awakens' Ray crossed with Miko. And her robot companion will probably be way more annoying than BB-8. They just want to copy the formula of a recent and more successful movie.

 

Well to be fair the 86 animated movie did the whole copying out of Star Wars first so it's not like this is a first for the Bay movies to do that.

 

Getting rid of Peltz would be a huge plus, but replacing her with this is not. But there aren't many A-listers that are going to want to get involved in this mess at this point. When washed up Mark Wahlberg is the best you can do...

Isabela's character meets Wahlberg's character. Cade is not going anywhere regardless of whether this rumor is true.

Anyways, if this is true I think it actually could hold potential. Having a human character whose only friend is a small Transformer could be an interesting spin on things. It's something we have not seen in the live-action Transformers films yet. Who is it? Brains? Or someone else? Honestly, if executed well this could be really neat!

 

Yeah, I was gonna mention that, but decided it was irrelevant.

 

Holy shit, the big news in that article for me is a Legends of the Hidden Temple movie. That's crazy  

 

Yeah but back then the TF film also didn't break even at the box office AND Disney wasn't at all involved.

As much as I despise most old 90's series reboots...I am honestly eager as hell to see what they do with that. LotHD was dope and continues to define aspects of my life today (namely last semester's team management class, where every single group simultaneously came up with the idea of naming themselves after the LotHD teams. It was a glorious class indeed.)

It's sooo gonna be Wheelie. Then we'll have a the Brains/Wheelie reunion for characters that should've stay dead post-DOTM.

Well I think she looks pretty cool. Plus the article purposely states "Street Smart Tom Boy" that's the first sign that She's way different then any other protagonist we've seen, It works better for Cade's character. I don't care what anyone thinks, I like Cade and I like Marky Mark, he works for me as a character in this universe. Can't wait to see more
