    Oh man, this is great news, but on the other hand I feel so bad for Jimbo. He's been putting in some serious work to get all these finished for a year and a half now.

    This is actually quite big news given how untill now the only way to get the orignals were via heavily edited clips from the show.

    Japan did get a CD set however it was mostly HeadMasters and onwards with maybe 2 or 3 recognisable tracks.

    I know John Walsh has been trying to get this stuff released for at least a decade. About time :) 
    I just hope it's in available in a lossless format, like on CD. Itunes' crap compression can bite me.

    I was just starting a project that needed the original G1 music and was this close to using the rips. Fantastic news!

    I'm hoping its not a limited release. That would be the only downside.
