Grimlock is G1 Grimlock. The Magnaboss guys are their G1 selves. Transmetal Prowl is Chip Chase.

Yeah, I said this before but a lot of the comic is actually about characters taking their names from the autobots and decepticons who died.

 

who's mad idea is that? TM Prowl might as well be original Prowl, the bio certainly hunts at that.

Whereas there's little to indicate that the Magnaboss guys are the G1 ones.

 

It gives a few versions that he's allowed to grow around him like the Joker did. It also says he came from the Pit and brought some other sparks with him. Doesn't that connect with one of the origins for Tarantulas? Can't pin down the source.

 

The Beast Wars Sourcebook says they are the same guys.

It's also the source of a LOT of BW characters only exploration.

 

The two "different origins" that have been mooted for Tarantulas and the Tripredacus Council are "descendants of the Marvel G2 Cybertronians" and "something to do with Unicron". So there's kind of a link there to the Pit story.

If you go with the "stole Ramhorn's name" story, Headstrong's personality is a good match, and "red rhino steals red rhino's name" is kind of fitting...

Found it! On the Wiki and pulled from the Sourcebook "When Tarantulas was born at the Pit, a glitch in the process granted him insight into the fact that an alien force was manipulating the Predacons for its ends. Thus, Tarantulas became obsessed with whatever this force was, later discovering it to be the Vok while he was on Earth."

 

Though that seems to be a reference to the Pit, the Predacon-birthing facility, whereas the Ramhorn bio looks to be referring to the Pit, the Hell analogue.

There are too many Pits...

 

Do you have to be a member to get the extras? Or is BBTS selling them?

 

This story is set in the same universe as the IDW Beast Wars Sourcebook, so I doubt they would contradict it.

In the bio for TM2 Prowl it establishes him as Binaltech Prowl's new form, and in Binaltech Prowl was brought online using the mind of Chip Chase.

 

While I dont particularly care whether bw ramhorn is g1 ramhorn, took his name, or is something else completely, I am curious what was completely inaccurate about what I posted.

 

I'm sure BBTS will have some for sale at some point. But as a club member I'm going to go there store for them.

 

The whole point of the bio is that no-one knows what the truth is, but you presented it as the only thing on the bio.

 

Even the suggestion that Soundwave is Sea Clamp flies in the face of basically the ONE thing that we know about these guys...

 

Oh good. I'm glad G1 fans and BW fans have been able to unite in hatred over something. Botcon truly is bringing everyone together.
