Doesn't seem to transform, and since there's already an MP-10 and an MPP-10 KO the whole 'super cartoon-accurate figure' thirst has been quenched.

Other ones I understand, such as the Movieverse figures, but stuff like this (and that Hot Toys Starscream thing) seem useless.

I love it, the older I get the more I'm not fussed about the specifics of a figure, this guy just looks great and at 18 inches tall it'll go with my Sentinel Scorponok.

Looks expensive. I've been curious to see more images of UltiMetal Ultra Magnus as well. That looks interesting too, but again, these things are a bit too pricey for me and many others. Still, they're cool to look at...

I guess the price will depend on whether it's die cast or plastic... as I already have the UM-01 I'm hoping this one is plastic so that it can keep the cost down but who am I kidding, I'll probably get it anyway...

    Actually, you can.

And what's the point, there's an awesome TRANSFORMING Masterpiece that looks basically the same...

Sigh... Another OP. I have enough transforming and non-transforming super poseable OPs, I don't need another version.

You know what I really need in my collection? A G1 super poseable cartoon accurate non-transforming Megatron.

That's what I need. I'm just so burnt-out with all the OPs that gets released every 3 months.

First I'd have to say this looks awesome but I'd rather have the Ultimate VOLTRON coming out at 18" and transformable. I'm guessing both will be in the same price.
Also those vinyl soap.studios art collection.G1 cartoon exact look a likes are what I'm gunning for but ud I can get this VOLTRON AND the vinyl figures all the better. ;)

I'm sorry but the masterpiece is not g1 cartoon accurate in the slightest. Its legs are messed up his chest windows, and even his head a little bit. There us definitely room from improvement there. I actually enjoy my MP-01 more as a more accurately depicted cartoon look alike & even he has a ton off as well.

I have to disagree with this as well. The masterpiece has a different look then this 18" Mega Action figure. This looks much more IDW/comic in comparison. But your.right that the MP DOES Transform. Unlike this.

I'm surprised Hasbro is actually licensing out their IP lately. A lot more then in the past wouldn't you say? On figures i mean

I completely agree with you. Just look at MP-27 Ironhide as an example, they got a lot right, but there's a lot wrong with it too.

No way is MP-10's head less accurate than MP-01. No way is MP-10's anything less accurate than MP-01. :lol

Anybody wondering what will happen with the Ultimetal series. If its way way cheaper like 700 cheaper I might get it. Its also IDW based, so its not G1 kinda

Yup should a took those hip panels and swung em around to.form his sides more. I haven't received my iron hide yet he's @ HLJ with the Jan TF:Adventure releases waiting for HOT RODIMUS & TF:Adventure Feb releases to ship. Can't wait I been waiting since 1985 when I was 9 years old for a correct Ironhide. And no my classics universe doesn't count :p

Thanks for agreeing with me on a subject usually ppl have strong hate towards me saying that MP-10
eds to be redone right. :)

Yes it is. He doesn't always have the same drawings but I think when they did the on point like drawings for the animated movie he far more envokes that then MP-10. Everyone seems to be blinded by the hype of that mold when his chest is way inaccurate compared to the original, as are his legs. And his physique as well as not as g1 cartoon accurate when derby drew for them (or w/e his name was). But I love my MP-10 don't get me wrong still.a fantastic toy I just think they BOTH need to be fixed to finally have a sideswipe masterpiece like
curateness to the cartoon version. I will say the truck mode is better but I still like me some rubber tires with shocks.
