Still a bit too cheap, I just hope it isn't PVC and NECA quality.

I was expecting to be around 300 USD, like ThreeZero minus the weathering.

If that's the case, I hope they do Megatron and Soundwave in the future.

    Pre-orders are up at BBTS.

    MAS-01 Optimus Prime Mega 18" Action Figure - Transformers 2010 - 2016 Transformers Figures

May not have jumped on it, but for 200.00!?!? That's the same size and half the price of 3A's DOTM Prime. Plus this guy looks awesome! I also really like 3A's G1 inspired prime and he is only going to be 16", hopefully they can keep him around or under the 200.00 price point as well.

Looking forward to a room filled with giant transformers!!!

Oh wow, I think Hasbro just beat Fewture to Megatron!
I thought Takara was usually first...

Dammit, why did I see this? I was just about to top up an order for shipping and was just settling on MMC Commotus over MP Ironhide (I was actually originally considering Mezco's Spock or Dredd), and thought to check there was nothing else I may have wanted...

I soo don't need this, but.

Has this company done anything else? Would be interested to get an idea on the quality. This guy looks great, although a little chunky.

This is SO close to amazing for me. It looks really good - very dynamic and I like the choice of style apart from the chunkiness. The legs are the worst offender, but he also looks just a bit stocky compared to my ideal optimus. I'm tempted to swap him out with my Ultimetal version due to the increased poseability, but I'll have to think on that a bit.

This guy also looks to be a great alternative for those that don't have but wanted Ultimetal, at a fraction of the cost. 200.00 for 18" inches of awesome is a great deal. And I really like how its based off an artist design instead of in house designers coming up with their own concept.

Waiting for Megatron and Ultra Magnus recolour.

    Sadly no energy axe.

I think the Hasbro licensing cost is much lower this time round and hence it is at an everyman(NECA) toy collector price point rather than ThreeZero/Hot Toys tier.

I am buying this but it looks like Ultimetal Prime on a strict diet of Donuts deep fried in lard. As a matter of fact looking at Ultimetal so many of the details are identical, this is definitely a bite off of UM Prime. For $179 though I don't give a shit. It smokes the Hot Toys prime for less money.

Yeah, and its 6" taller than HT Prime... People are gonna have a hard time giving that guy away. I own HT prime and picked him up for a pretty good deal a while ago. No regrets, I actually really like the figure.

I think when this guy shows up I'll put him in my office at work. Propped up on my desk just pointing his gun at anyone who steps through my door to bug me.
