Fort Max' head is a bit big but he still looks great. Definitely better than Metroplex for me.

Also. Bumblebee is the first spin-off movie? Are you fucking serious?

Great stuff, Fort Max looks beautiful and I love that all the heads will be compatible with each other. Super hyped for the new reveals tomorrow. :D

    FURST EVAR FEMALE COMBINER!!

Obvious pandering is obvious. Victorion's a cool figure with cool weapons, I'm not 100% fond of how she's been used in IDW at the moment, but maybe it'll get better.

So, older fans are now 30% of the market.

    This alarming anyone else?

I always knew their small percentage for collectors was way off.

One thing I'd love to know is how they define "older fans". Is that "adults" or is that just "outside the target demographic", which means around 10-12+?

Take a look at the expanding generations picture. Father and son picture and the father is holding Maketoys Giant.

Big thanks to HASBRO for finally acknowledging that "older" (adult) fans make up 30% (or more) of the TF toy business.

    'Bout time.

I can see why they'd make the mistake though. Looks very similar to Hasbro Devy.

    Alarming how?

Alarming in that 70% of the fanbase likely gives exactly zero F's about G1 accuracy?

Because that's not alarming. That's just a pleasant wake up call to some of the more vocal purists who trash on everything because it doesn't remind them of something that's 30 years old.

Adult collectors are 30% of the customer base. Turn it around all you want, but that's called a minority share.

And that 70%? That's kids. So guess who's more important to the long term brand. That's right: Kids. Because they need enough of those kids to remain interested as they grow up and replace us as we either fall out of interest collecting or (to be perfectly honest) get old and die.
