The colors do give out a Brainstorm vibe so maybe?

 

I hate teasers, just show me the damn thing.

 

Perhaps this source has ties to Hasbro/Takara and thus wants to help them build hype.

 

I'm calling it right now, it's gonna be Brainstorm.

 

Oh joy, more cut off pictures! At least we're getting them in color now.  

And yeah looks pretty Brainstormy to me, at least with those colors. Still a bit confused as to why they'd make another Brainstorm after just releasing the Voyager not too long ago but hey maybe it'll look even better this time around.

Edit: Just dawned on me, this could also be the Titans Return/Combiner Wars Leozack. Colors seem placed similarly enough to the G1 design.

 

I can only guess so as to scale better with Hardhead & Chromedome... Thats the only way they'll get me to buy this since I have the Generations.

Enh...while it almost certainly is Brainstorm from the colors, personally I don't get why they needed to redo this guy so soon. Sure, the Voyager in Generations had some issues but at least he turned into a great, sleek lined spacecraft. I'd love to be wrong, but a Blurr retool would logically only mean at best something that resembled a hovercar, not a space fighter.

 

It's Brainstorm, the leg details are a dead giveaway - compare them to the stickers on the G1 Brainstorm here.

I'm more inclined to think Sixshot or Quickswitch. The leg kibble matches in location and the kneeguards share similar detailing. It's a far fetch but I'm finding it hard to see Hasbro releasing Brainstorm again without it being the same mold. It's not impossible but I just question why redesign him for Headmasters and keep him secret.

 

So then voyager is IDW & this will be G1 style?

It could also be because they originally planned to have Titans Headmasters compatible with Generations Brainstorm.

But then that fell through, so they went instead with him as a retool of another mold.

 

It's Brainstorm from the Blurr mold. It was leaked awhile back. This confirms it.

Like Gryph said, Brainstorm (from Blurr) was on the leaked list that came out not too long ago...also, G1 Brainstorm's leg stickers are awfully similar to those found on the artwork.

If it was Sixshot - which would mean riots in the streets since the only reason you do Sixshot is if it's a six-changer and no way in hell is a deluxe going to pull that kind of stunt - then the legs would be purple. And it's highly likely to not be Quickswitch since IIRC he would therefore have the cockpit codpiece that many a kid probably left in the "up" position (because of the same reason Erector's name is funny only because he's a crane truck with extending boom).

Because he's apparently just a Blurr retool, who we've already seen, so even if we saw Brainstorm II chances are not much is going to be different beyond the head and colors?

 

Looks teal green to me, not the aqua blue of Brainstorm.

Not sure why people are calling this Brainstorm. Plus the leg kibble is all wrong.

 

Just leak the full gosh darned image for the love of gosh sake.
