Now this was an unexpected find!

I logged on to my Discogs account to find copies of N.R.G2 Transformed available. I was the one who originally put it on Discogs, having attained a lossless copy from a fellow collector some time ago. A couple of links later and I found the following site.

Now with updated links, the limited edition N.R.G.2 Transformed CD is finally available for fans to purchase once again!

For those wondering how in the world this links with Transformers, NRG performed "Instruments of Destruction" on the 1986 Transformers animated feature, a song that was thought to be the only recorded output until 2001, where the 2001 CD made an albeit brief appearance at Botcon. A website was put online, where fans could purchase the Collector CD, until it became outdated and links had died. Until today! (or 2/2/16 as the previous site states.)

Also available, a live album, entitled N.R.G. LIVE AT THE LIVING ROOM 3-7-86, found here.

At the present time, I have yet to have been able to purchase and download the live album. After adding all WAV tracks to my cart and attempting to purchase/download, my cart empties. If anyone has any luck downloading the live album, please let me know your secret in the comments!

Oh neat, that appears to be the uncensored version of "Instruments of Destruction".

    Uncensored lyrics:
    "Iron birds of foreplay"
    "Flying tools of torture"
    "It's a violent seduction"

    Censored lyrics:
    "Iron birds of fortune"
    "Flying tools of torment"
    "It's a violent eruption"

The uncensored version has actually been around for over a decade.

I so did not know that, it's a bit risque actually.

sorta makes sense to censor it for a movie about toy robots.
