I wish z-multiplier would just show the full color, unaltered, uncropped image. It's NOT like we CAN'T figure out who is in all these greyscale cropped teaser images. It's no secret who they all are.

Ha! First thing I did was mirror and reverse it too. Since he comes with 2 rifles, it's not even wrong for him to have one in each hand!



Compare with Sentinel Prime, it appears there is no remolding outside the head, and his has the feet turned around (you can have either train and shuttle nose feet?):

Looks pretty good considering it's just a black and white piece of promo art. A little sad to see there isn't any other new tooling other than the head but I'm sure I'll get over it once finally see the toy in the classic grey and purple color scheme.

 

I hope he's in his G1 cartoon colors. If not, then I think Takara has me covered on that.

Today in "News that Should Surprise No One": Titans Returns Astrotrain from Sentinel Prime.

 

I mean, it looks like Astrotrain.

Which is to say entirely unremarkable.

 

Probably cause its probably a headmaster.
Im hoping that a third party can make no headmaster heads that are correctly proportional and look like their g1 cartoon self.

 

not surprised. I'm happy with my CHUG Astrotrain though. I'll get Sentinel because he's someone new(ish) that hasn't been done G1 before. Plus there is a lack of orange transformers. A simple head-swap for a new figure though, that could be a nice $$$ saving/making move on Hasbro's part if they keep playing it right.

I don't care who is editing the images. In all the images we have seen it is very obvious what we are looking at, so why even crop to obscure anything? The identity is already known, it's pointless to randomly crop parts of the image when you can immediately tell what it's supposed to be.

 

Just a redeco with a new head confirmed. Shame, I wish they would have remoulded it a bit at the very least.

Oh well, at least I presume this will scale much better with Generations Blitzwing.

 

Looks ok. Wish it wasn't a headmaster though. I still like Henkei Astrotrain a lot.
