That was a pretty epic way to showcase this year's botcon by none other then the Predacon warlord himself.

Looks like we just saw one of the Botcon sets

Well, THAT figure is a MUST.

For those unaware, that's TOTALLY the unproduced but proposed 3H era Megatron from the RID mold.

 

Are FunPub fans of Vince Russo? Because there's one swerve they could pull at the last minute...

 

But by the time Megatron would be back on Cybertron wouldn't Tarantulas and Ravage be dead?

 

That's a pretty interesting teaser at the end there. I'm now wondering if that teaser paves the way of that Transmetal Megatron proposal being used for a Botcon 2016 souvenir.

 

Only issue I see with that is his dislike of organics by the time of BM.

Which makes the toy ironic considering the Council has mechanical altmodes.

 

They're doing it...they're actually doing it. I know we speculated on it but I never expected Botcon to actually do it but man am I glad they are!

 

That figure/set will sell out fast and be very popular on the second market.

I think it's safe to say this is the "centerpiece" Pete was referring to during his last podcast appearance. I wonder if it'll come with the rubber ducky accessory originally planned to go with Megatron and if anything will change from the original design to the Botcon 2016 design.

Oh and you better believe I'm getting in line early to get this thing, I can only imagine how quickly he'll sell out during the show.

 

I can't decide if I'd prefer a rubber ducky accessory or a Legends Class Seeker painted up to look like a rubber ducky.

 

Sounds great, David Kaye is awesome and it's nice that this toy exists now.

I personally can't go to Botcon and I don’t care about these toys though.

 

Gotta admit using the formerly cancelled TM3 Megatron figure is sure a big way to end the Botcon legacy on a high note.
