    Allspark Pictures? Nice.

Good to see Hasbro has more control over what goes on in the films. That can only be a good thing.

8th? Did they just confirm three more movies after TF5 before TF5 is even released?

Well, I guess all this confirms in Galvatron is never, ever going to die now.

I really hope Allspark Pictures can work on getting Michael Bay the hell off of the movie franchise so they can reboot it already. I want to enjoy good Transformers movies before I die.

Yeah, not sure I like the sound of Hasbro having more control over the movies. Call me old fashioned, but I think a director should have final say over what does and doesn't go into a movie. Even if they do it like marvel, where it just serves the overall story, it can still backfire.

Lemme put it like this - say they hire a new director for TF6, who also writes up his own script. Everyone who reads it loves it, says its the best TF script they read. But Hasbro, with their overbearing control, says they want Ultra Magnus in the movie to sell more toys of him. Problem is Ultra Magnus isn't IN the script, and there's no way to add him in that isn't really forced and lame. But Hasbro has total control, so they shoehorn him in in a way that doesn't make sense and feels tacked on. The movie suffers because Hasbro wanted to sell a toy.

THATS my biggest fear. Hasbros gonna become like marvel and think that Hollywood execs can write stories, when they fucking can't.

How old is this article? It seems to refer to the release of Jem and the Holograms as though it were upcoming.

Nor is there mention of three of the franchises recruited for the Hasbro cinematic universe - M.A.S.K, Rom, and Visionaries. I'm taking all info from this report that hasn't been confirmed elsewhere with a grain of salt.

^that's a lot of wishful thinking, that the next movie won't be Bay, and that the person after Bay would know more about Transformers than he did. The only thing that will really change the movies is a reboot. Juvenile humor, gratuitous violence and meaningless one dimensional characters are a part of the deal at this point.

I sure hope he doesn't die any time soon. If he does die it should be at the end of the series, and even then I would love for him to survive in some manner.

I wonder how Hasbro has pulled off this more control thing? Also will the director and producers change their attitude just because Hasbro wants more say in these films?

Hasbro having more control over the movies is not a good thing. The situation is lose-lose for fans unless a competent outsider comes aboard and pushes Hasbro aside, neither of which appear to be happening, so we all know the quality of TF5 already.

I'd prefer the company that created the franchise and has owned it for 30 years have more creative control than a director who may not know much about the franchise. Don't get me wrong, since TF1 and ROTF Michael seems to of learned quite a bit about the franchise, But even i (a lover of the films) can see that Michael needs to be pulled back on his lead a bit.

I mean lets face it, Allspark Pictures are going to be ran by fans of the franchise, fans who also work for Hasbro. It all depends on there team. Lets just how this plays out before jumping the gun.

So this is basically like Marvel studios in which the original company has more of the final say of every movie it releases? Sounds cool. :)

Didn't like monopoly empire like solo themes monopoly have walking dead, and others

Yeah who cares if transformers look realistic in movies lets give giant alien transforming robots smooth human faces that they have in comics, and give us ryhming transformers jazz, wheelie, and blaster, let's have prime die few times like he did in generatin one series, and give transformers nipples on there chest that new director did for Tim burton batman sequels give batman and robin bat nipples but bat not bat girl, let's make humans annoying this time as they where in in cartoon go to cybertron with out space suits on humans breath in space on cybertron, rumble riding on thunder cracker jousting with autobot tracks riding on top of warpath who travels through time in portal in medieval dark ages with knights and dragons,. Let's have reboot with all that stuff included

Which is a good thing. Megatron has been used too much, it's time for Galvatron, Overlord, Sixshot, and Deathsauras to have the spotlight.

How much control did Hasbro have over Jem?

Just because Hasbro owns the franchise doesn't mean the decision makers are going to be any more knowledgeable or concerned about the story dynamics from 30 years ago when plotting out their course for today's audiences any more than a random writer or director who simply likes the idea of the brand and has new ideas for it.
