I'm glad I wanted to see CW last a couple years to be honest. Build up a library of combiners to draw from, and eventually get premium versions.

 

In a discussion where people are ignoring/making excuses for the fact that there is a Decepticon symbol on the tank, I don't find that to be a compelling point. The excuse for the symbol could easily be used for whatever voyager is being used.

 

Good point but I agree with the fact that they could have done new hands and feet for future box sets lets take a logical step back and consider that Hasbro was interviewed in saying that they know people want predaking and abominus they do to but need time to do it right Tr is starting and there would be no point not to have at least 2 waves of Titans returns figures out by the end of 2016 so Computron could have been planned for individual releases (Wave 7 ) but timeing was off hense that Computron ruination and the beast combiner were/are slated for future box set releases hopefully

It's cool that you can determine that the drill is not painted from a black and white photo.

 

I don't know if drill is painted but I know drill section's windows are not painted.

 

And we both know that Hasbro is known for going all out on paint apps, right.

 

I would love it if it was Liokaiser! Then all my tweets at Hasbro would mean they worked at convincing them to use the CW figures to do Liokaiser, since there's so many CW limbs out there perfect for re-tooling!

I too think this is for Computron. I'm fairly certain that that con symbol is on Brawl normally. It's most likely that they literally just stuck a Brawl onto some version of the Silverbolt mold (most likely Scattorshot).
I know I say this a lot but I'll be a bit bummed if they don't use the HFG for a Computron. I like the functionality of it and also the uniformity between combiners (I'm fine with the change on Victorion cuz she's a new combiner and she's supposed to be a little special; still curious if those parts have any other modes though).
I would not want a Liokaiser done this way in any case. He was never a scramble combiner and there's no reason for him to be. I didn't mind Devastator done from Constructicon Maximus because at the time there wasn't gonna be a proper Devastator anyway (that and I do love the Energon combiners; sue me). Thus far in this line, the scramble combiners are the only ones who have stayed scramble combiners barring some combining Autobots (which I find more forgivable BECAUSE of the lack of precedent; it's not doing a distinct combiner wrong, it's doing a new combiner out of old characters. Sue me some more).

 

Geez, I'm gonna get this be it Computron or Liokaiser.

Both are equally welcomed in my collection.

Did anybody think that it could be an early image of the BotCon set? I mean, yeah it could be Computron but I am leaning more towards the BotCon set with the custom feet and hands.

It's the same Drill used on Ramhorn...mounted "wrong" because Brawl isn't built for it.

Hell is still hot, right? Cause that's the chances of Hasbro doing a Liokaiser!       I'm just sayin' that toy is too obscure to be even spat on by big H!   Don't want anyone believing Japanese-only toys are now fair game...  

In any event, I think it's better to move onto HM, at this point. CW has kind of hit saturation point with all the repaints and retools (then there's the abomination they made from fan votes!    ).

 

Looking at pictures of Liokaiser, it COULD be. I mean...maybe. I hope it's not a Computron set since well, I was hoping there would be a bit more retooling on it. Then again I can picture Hasbro using parts of this for the Computron set regardless so both guesses could be right.

 

Y'know, it could be Predacus with some kind of sanctioned custom feet. I mean, are feet more ridiculous than a Pretender Shell?
