Hmmmm... X-9 reissue?

 

Could happen, but I don't think this picture is a clue. Yuki has a habit of shooting pictures of BW characters outside, I have seen a couple of those and none of them were really hints for anything. He probably just grabbed one, made the photo and added the text which is really more important than the figure pictured here.

It would be awesome if they do reissue this one though; it's rather hard to come by these days. For a reasonable price at least.

This is the first best news I've heard in the New Year so far.

That sound you hear is the collective hyperventilating of every dealer who's been sitting on an X9 waiting to cash-in.

 

I certainly hope not. It's only about 50% screen accurate, and transforms into a tiger instead of a cassette. Of course, there's no possible way it could be 100% accurate and transform into a cassette as well, but I'd be happy with just a non-transformable Ravage figure and a non-transformable cassette accessory to go along with it.

Not to mention the collective gasp of collectors who already own one (like myself, lol.)

The toy is the Japanese exclusive Beast Wars Metals X-9 Jaguar (Ravage), released in 1999.

Fantastic new, cant wait to se what they do. Plus if TT are doing it Hasbro might follow suit.

 

I'd love to see X-9 get some love of any kind.

As for current owners/sellers. If this is the case its happened before with Fortmax so really its just a risk of playing the game. And I'm sure their would be some changes.

 

Wait, so there's a good chance we'll be getting more BW toys than just MP Primal? Well it didn't take long for 2016 to take a turn for the awesome.

Going off their recent track record, they definitely won't.

Absolutetly! I think it was very plausible that Takara would do something beyond MP Primal, but this is almost a confirmation that they will.

I bet we get some retools/repaints of some original toys, maybe a few clever retools like Legends Blackarachnia, and maybe even a new mold.

After they did a new Groove and will most likely do a new Blast Off for Unite Warriors I wouldn’t be surprised if we get one brand new Beast Wars mold. I could see a new Deluxe Cheetor happening, especially since they can reuse the mold easily (Tigatron, Ravage).

I'm really excited to see how this turns out.

And don’t forget guys: TT will publish a BW-short on their YouTube-account on January 5th. This may have nothing to do with toys but maybe they use the opportunity for more teasers.

I don't really see it happening either, but maybe they do honor the anniversary in some way.
