None of my paint has flaked off yet (except on the interior of the shoulder pads where I filed the cut out for the red circles to slide through) and only the battle-mask bot face has the smallest dot of paint missing on one of the edges. I think the key is to use your fingernails sparingly to pull out panels and make sure you don't scrape him ever, even against himself. basically treat him like the expensive high end figure he is and take your time to edge out pieces instead of trying to do it all really quickly.

I like your matter-of-fact tone. Makes me believe this is the case and I am fully down for MP Megtron. But literally any new character will suffice!

 

I'd love MP Beast Megatron, but I don't think that'll happen in 2017 with one MP Megatron already happening. However, I'd love to see Beast Wars MPs continue. At the very least, I'd like to have all the season one characters in MP form. Even the two who died and everyone forgot after the finale, Terrorsaur and Scorponok.

 

It does seem most logical to do Megs next. Plus, many rumours have said as much.

 

Ha, I've been rediscovering my love for Terrorsaur lately and would really like to see him tackled because I just can't fathom how they'd be able to fold his robot limbs away all nice and flat in for a sleek bast mode or where those wings will vanish to once transformed. I've got to admit that I always thought Scorponok was a bit lame though. He's bottom of my want list even if he comes with a cyber bee accessory for Primal. Still a 100% must have buy but the absolute least of my Beast Wars priorities.
Making 2017 the year of Megatron could be a cool marketing campaign. There's MP G1 Megatron v2.0 and the Prime studios statue slated for 2017; throw on some BW love and get everyone revelling in the fun. The universe cowered once at the name of Megatron, in 2017, it shall do so again!

 

No way an MP Terrorsaur would get away with 100% concealed limbs. However I could imagine cleverly concealing most of his legs in the wings, which would then account for the mass that goes missing from them in robot mode.

What's really gonna fuck with Terrorsaur is the fact that he completely changes colour between modes. His red skin goes from light and matte to a deep shiny red. Either way, one mode is gonna look completely wrong if they do eventually make him.

 

I would think that the next figure would be Dinobot, to add to the Axalon crew of MP Primal, MP Cheetor, and Generations
Rhinox & Rattrap.

This is a news thread. Posting rumors here never works out well. It’s just confusing and annoying. Once you have proof and are willing to share it, make a news topic about it and let people judge what they see.

But the whole "I know it because a guy told me"-procedure is for the MP speculation topic, and it should stay there. You can build a track record, you can prove me wrong, but don't be mad if I don't believe you on this one until I’ve seen some proof like the leaked MP Megatron pictures.

 

Thanks for the info, I hope it is correct as I'd like few things more than an MP Megatron to compliment Primal. Of course it could not be true, or could have been true at the time it was said but not so true now, things change but it's interesting to hear for sure.

In other more on topic news I completed the mod and I'm really impressed with the results. Left arm modded, right arm not (I've done both now but I thought a comparison photo might be nice).



Also I have noticed some small chips to the pain on the back of mine's beat neck which is bottom of the backpack on the robot mode, I imagine it's happened on the one or two occasions he's fallen over in robot mode..it 's a shape the paint chips so easily I hope they do something to improve this with Cheetor. So long as I'm carful I'm sure it wont be an issue.

If roles were reversed, and you were in the dark with the rest of us, and some guy came in with totally unsubstantiated claims of future releases, would you take his word without question?

Granted, you have an MP Primal prototype, so that lends some credibility, but you're not giving us any reason to trust you.
