Cool that it gets a movie, sucks that the writers won't have a ton more time to develop their setting. I really dig the designs, and would have liked to have seen RID2015 get the animated treatment with a lot more depth added over time.

Excited to see the rest of the story though and also to see whatever is next on the horizon.

Well that sucks, I was really getting into it and now this happens! Oh well hopefully they give it a decent ending and not a rushed one.

I really hope that we do get that movie prequel series, that would be cool and expand the mythos in the films.

I always find it sad when a series doesn't last very long. :(

I try to never be the first negative Nancy in a thread, but replacing a show I don't care about with a theoretical show I won't care about is...eh.

I say this having watched all but the last 3 season 1 episodes, so I'm not judging without watching.

The link bringing us to the prequel animated series for the movie rumor never mentions an animated series. What is this? Are we counting rumors that we come up with ourselves?

I can't wait to see what Hasbro has planned for their next series. I'm hoping for something very different and not connected to NuRID or TFP.

I'm more interested in the roll of the dice of what might come next than I ever managed to be about this show.

:( Well, there goes my hope for getting all the Decepticons from this series. It's a shame, I really like this show.

I liked RID and personally I feel that a prequel movie verse show is a TERRIBLE idea.

We do not need MORE CONTINUITY Jumbled onto the already BRAIN NUMBING movie continuity!

Truthfully this latest iteration in RID is weak-sauce. The villain of the week premise was never going to allow for proper back story of each character and inclusion of same in the overall tapestry of the story, nor does the constant flow of story with no hearkening back to even the immediate previous episode (most of the time) makes it feel that it's on solid ground. In other words I won't be sorry to see it go. Like others I've enjoyed some of the designs, but putting BB in charge was a mistake and the stories never really felt like they went anywhere except when the villains gathered under together for an all-out assault- which was an all too rare occurrence.

Its good that RID is ending but wasn't the prequel going to be a all CG movie? I guess people were right about Hasbros agenda of making the main line complety movie crap than doing anything original. Soon Generations will consiting of nothing but updates of the first movie since it will be its 10th anniverary in two years, and they'll probably look worse than the original figs.

awww that does kinda bums me out, cutting a good show short because i just want to push another one. the series had such potential. guess thats the end of the alligned universe. if we at least see more of the 13 and megatronus in the second season/movie, i guess ill be happy. also if chop shop, underbite, hammerstrike, filch, quillfire and scowl get more screen time.
